Some of those plot bunnies are set ups for book 3 i was also thinking i might not let this series die, pick it up at a later date after book 3, like when max is 30 or something, then again at the end of his life, just a thought right now though

I do it, though i mix the name in a lot more than that. but if you use the name too much it makes it sound repetative: Bob, bob, bob, ... i've read stories where a character's name appears as many a as four or five times in a sentence. you start hating the name, scratching it off your baby list if you he or she in slash too much you get confused as to which he or she your talking about. but i agree using the MC's name just twice in 1500 words is under-repetetative

Chapter 53 is up, no sex but we can't have sex all the time - just think of the chaffing!

Wow! Was just a joke but sorry if it upset you so much, it was just in response to another comment (not yours). I've never measured a lot of my appedeges, usually only measure a body part if i need to for clothing...just never seemed to come up before and i'm kinda surprised its so prevelant. Obsessed? Well maybe, but more with the fact that it just never occured to me, or if it did it didn't create enough impact with me to actually do it or even remember the thought. I always thought most guys did like I did, just sort of estimate it...oh well, been called weird before for so many reasons, what's one more? Seriously though, I didn't mean to offend, just surprised is all. So if that floats your boat, go for it; its not like you're clubbing baby seals or anything. as for such detail in writing, yeah I am kind of against it. Every reader, every person, has their idea of what is perfect, so if you be a little vague it allows the reader to apply their ideas of perfection on your characters and relate more closely with them, just my opinion, not like I'm some great expert. I just think that if you describe everything down to the last millimeter then you limit who will find your characters attractive or more like that picture in their head and in fact I don't like when cup size is specified, it just seems forced every time I see it.. But you as the author should do what you feel is right, its your story and you should write it the way your instincts tell you too. As for the name calling, well if it makes you feel better go ahead, I've been called too many things over the years to get bothered by it.
