  1. Yes, just finished writing episode nine.  I’ll give it the usual cool down, so unless something else happens, most likely post it next weekend.

I had a draft of episode ten done before I started five, so with some tweaking for what happened in 5-9, it’s now just waiting for nine to post :)    Onto #11.

That's the main thing I dislike about publishing a story as it is being written.  My mind can decide to take the storyline in an entirely different direction than what the previous chapters were leading up to.

I have two going right now and it's difficult to bounce back and forth between the two because I have to get myself into a completely different mindset.

I know I put the added pressure on myself by trying to publish a chapter in each at least every 7-10 days.

Jefferey’s being done episodic basically because, it’s Jeff’s life, so it’s more of a diary/journal than a typical plot-based story.  I’ll try to have a plot to each episode (or small set of episodes), and some recurring threads, or even some plot that’s spread over a larger set.

Sometimes the time pressure thing works, and when it does, great, other times, it can trigger burnout.  (Burnout is why Jefferey stalled the first time around.)  My goal is an episode every week or two, but I’m definitely willing to take that break when it’s needed (even if the break is accidental, like a recent video game habit that got broken on Friday).

But yeah, this is the second time around and I’m filling in where I used to have a four year gap, so it’s a bit stronger on the minor1 than it used to be, just because, well, it’s unavoidable with the basic premise.
