Can I just say it's really nice to have a forum and a writing forum especially where the atmosphere is generally pretty comfortable as well as actually helpful? Like I feel perfectly fine asking staff or other posters a question or for advice, because I’d actually get legit answers with no drama attached. I've been on plenty of forums before, and this is one of the very few that I feel like I'm going to be sticking with. For some reason I've noticed that people who are open about writing adult material come off as much less high-strung then people who don't (or who loudly proclaim to be against it).
TL;DR: Just wanted to show my appreciation to AFF’s forums for being a non-toxic place (if it is, then it’s very well-hidden, lol). I don’t see that very often.

But you had to wait for season 3 for the legend that is Reg Barclay, played by none other than "Howling Mad" Murdock himself Dwight Schultz!

Given the sheer, insane volume of your work, I really figured I shouldn’t stop looking through it just because I didn’t like some of the stories.  Heck, there can be stories in the same series that net different reactions from me.
That’s pretty neat.  I caught a mention of “beach glass” and “fish” at the beginning of the story, but it never occurred to me that the deities were based on actual people.  I actually just assumed the King of the Mists was a reference to your loli stories.
At the risk of sounding weird...well weirder, that’s actually exactly what I like about “nursing” like that: beyond the purely sexual aspect, it’s a warm, soothing form of intimate contact, for both partners.  I’m a big fan of gentle affection (hugs, cuddling), and nursing has always felt like part of that, an act that bridges erotic and emotional intimacy.
That’s just in general.  As you said, it’s even more powerful in the context of the story, given Tony’s parental neglect and Annie and Cherisse’s maternal attitudes.
So yeah...sorry if that was weird.
No problem!   There’s another story of yours I’ll be reviewing fairly soon.  It’s going to be a few days, though, since I won’t have internet for a few days, and while I wrote this post on my phone, I really don’t like writing reviews on it.

No problem. I’m happy to have a review on any of them, any time!
We all have our  things. I’m glad you weren’t so turned off by Guidelines et al that you stopped reading my stories all together.
The contrast is deliberate. Tony really appreciates their kindness because he knows too well what the lack of it is like.
Because the story is sort of a tribute to the art of Glassfish, I wanted to include her in the story in some way, and making her the creator of the Beach seemed appropriate. (Also, the bit about the King of the Mists is a nod to the artist Fogbank, who mainly draws pics of lolis cavorting with adult men.)
I like to mix different kinds of desires. Tony’s “nursing” on Cherisse is a sexual thing, but at the same time, it’s a reflection of his wish for a real mother figure, which Cherisse (and Annie) provide, in a way.
I’m glad you enjoyed it and that you appreciate the spirit in which it was written. Thanks very much for the review!

TNG definitely got off to a wobbly start, but it improves substantially in the second season: fewer stories cribbed from TOS, better-defined roles for the characters, better uniforms, and Riker grows that awesome beard.

Hey all. I’m inches away from finishing the next chapter of Little Rose; I expect to post it tomorrow night. (Again, I’m not writing that one at light speed; fully half of this chapter was written before I even posted chapter 1.)
As for The More, the Merrier, here’s the status: I have planned 10 scenes for the chapter. Five of these are now fully written, two are partially written, and three aren’t started or are barely started. I may end up moving a scene or two to the next chapter, depending on how long it all ends up being.
SWP1, to answer your other questions: My favorite Star Trek is The Next Generation (I always liked Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard). Yes, I’ve seen the trailer for Episode 9, and I like the bit with Rey charging a TIE fighter on foot. I never watched much of the Twilight Zone, but I’ve seen some of the classic episodes like “Terror at 20,000 Feet” (which, coincidentally, starred William Shatner, and was directed by Richard Donner of Superman, Lethal Weapon, and X-Men fame).

Yeah, it would be fun to see Joan actually get it on with her many-limbed friend, but even the fantasy was pretty nice.
As for Bruce, at his age, he might have to be “The Evil Granddad.”

Hey, all. Earlier this week, I sent a draft of chapter 6 of “Auntie’s Home” to my friend and beta Jomahawk, who pointed out some issues that I’m now fixing. I hope to post the new chapter tomorrow night.
I’ve also made good progress on the next chapters of “Little Rose” and “Country Summer,” and scattered progress on three different upcoming chapters of “Wishful.” The “Little Rose” chapter will almost certainly be the next thing finished.
SWP1: I haven’t seen Shazam yet, but maybe this weekend. I also want to see Us. And then, of course, Endgame.

For GeorgeGlass’ comments on Afterparty Pressure:
Firstly, thank you again for reading and commenting, always a pleasure!  I was always rather proud of the ‘apples made of fire’ line, so I’m glad you got a kick out of it too!
If I’m going to give a character a big secret kink like that, I usually like to try and give at least a little explanation for it...it’s more satisfying that way, I think. Plus I quite like the idea of lil’ Wendy and Tambry taking their big wheels to a secluded spot for some fun. <3
Pacifica owes a lot of her portrayal in this story to Fairy Slayer’s portrayal of her in ‘Bell of the Ball.’ (I mean, this was a follow-up to that story, so, obviously, right?  )But she was so sweet and earnest in that, I wanted to try my hand at her as well. And, given my personal predilections, I guess that sweet earnestness made me want to put her through the wringer a bit. >:D I like characters that are stronger and better than they think they are, right up until their backs are really against the wall, and that’s just Pacifica all over.
As for the criticism about Wendy’s reaction, I get it. I’ve thought a couple of times that I should have addressed Wendy’s state of mind a little better, but at the time I didn’t really have a graceful way to squeeze it in without getting out of Pacifica’s head and into Wendy’s, and I really wanted to keep it to Paz’s POV. My concept was that first of all she was drunk, horny and not thinking clearly, of course. XD At that point Wendy had no way of knowing there was anything more to Pacifica than the classic ‘Mean Girl’ persona she’d wrapped herself in, and Wendy’s in high school, so she’d be familiar with what that kind of girl could do to a sweet boy like Dipper. And sprinkled across the top was a bit of residual guilt from having to turn him down, the source of the ‘already had his heart broken once’ line. That was the idea, but I would have to agree that I could have expressed it better. Well, live and learn.
I’m quite pleased that you enjoyed it overall though! If you do ever get around to giving the next part a read, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Under Joan's Bed was one of those stories I meant to try and do more parts for and never got around too. Seem to have lost my plan for it, but I remember the spider under the bed was going to have a role, too, also as a friend to Joan. Maybe now I’m picking at the prompts again I might try and reconstruct some of it, at least take a shot at some of the graphic tentacle content that the summary and codes suggest without really delivering on.
Thanks for the review! Joan certainly thought about getting that friend into a specific low place in the shower. I’m glad you liked the ending, I think I had a bit of fun coming up with that. If I ever do write more the Daddy will show up and things’ll go badly. The spider might well get involved.
Also, if someone ever did a parody called “The Evil Dead” they probably could get Bruce to star in it
    Thanks again!

I agree it gets more interesting in this kind of story when doing it confession style. There are a number of similarities between you story and my own Carmen Elisa story and the mood and style of the main characters retelling the story is one of those similarities.
    I think she had it coming… ;-)

I realized today that although I was planning for the next chapter of “Little Rose” to be the last, there’s really too much story there to cram into one chapter. So 2 chapters are still forthcoming.
SWP1, thanks for the comment on “Little Rose.” I left a response in that thread.

Thanks! I’m enjoying writing this as a series of confessions. The story requires a fair amount of exposition, and I feel like it’s more interesting (for the reader and myself) if the exposition comes in Mia’s own words.
I hope you’ll like it. The next chapter is going to be a bit different; it’s titled “The Worst Day of My Life.”

Made a lot of progress on stories this week, chiefly “The More, the Merrier” and “Auntie's Home,” but I still don't have anything terribly close to being ready to post. What I'd like to finish next is chapter 3 of my long-neglected busty-sorority-girls story, “Delta Delta Delta,” but I have to go where inspiration takes me.

I’m pleased you said that. I wasn’t sure people would like that.
I’m glad. Mia does a lot of terrible things, but she’s not stone-cold about them, or she wouldn’t be confiding in you in the first place.
Then I have good news for you: You’re going to learn more about her past in chapter 5, and more about her present in chapter 6.
    Thanks for the review!
