George Glass' Review Responses -- Original Fiction

Re: “The Red Day” From ANON - Axel on April 07, 2022 Glad you enjoyed it. I felt like the story’s penultimate chapter ought to have multiple perspectives to give readers a more complete picture of what’s going on. Also, I have a fetish for mass-rape scenes. Thanks! It was necessary to show the action from the male perspective at some point, if only to explain why the story is called “The Red Day.” The final chapter will have some male perspective, too, albeit in a different sense. -
Names for OCs
GeorgeGlass replied to Harley Quinn hyenaholic's topic in Original Character Development
For human characters who are not from a fantasy world (and for furries who have human names), I try to avoid using the same name twice, at least for major characters. (I actually keep a list of all the names I’ve used.) I think this helps make my stories more interesting. For whatever reason, sometimes I like to give sexy female characters names that I don’t think of as sexy at all, like Geraldine, Enid, and Mitzi. -

Re: “The Red Day” From JamesRyder on April 06, 2022 Thank you! That’s an important reason why I wrote this chapter from multiple perspectives instead of just one, like the previous three chapters. Including the male perspective also explains why the story is titled “The Red Day.” Well, the next chapter is the last, so if you’re going to find out at all, you’ll find out soon. -

Re: “The Red Day” From ANON - Anon on April 05, 2022 Thanks! My friend and frequent beta-reader Jomahawk has helped me get into the habit of thinking about what characters are wearing, which I find very helpful for making the sex scenes more vivid. I felt like there had to be at least one woman in the story who got turned on by being gangbanged, regardless of the circumstances. Thanks for the comments! -

I didn’t take it down; I just restricted it to registered users, because I was getting harassed by anons in the comments. -

Re: “The Red Day” From ANON - Ace of Hate on April 02, 2022 You’ll have to wait and see. -
At long freakin’ last, chapter 2 of “Into the Third Dimension” has gone to beta. But it’s 15k+ words, so it could take a good while to come back. In other news, I expect to post chapter 4 of “The Red Day” on Monday or Tuesday.

Re: “The Red Day” From metamorphic_Monster on April 01, 2022 Thanks! I expect to post the next chapter Monday or Tuesday. -
Well, I didn’t meet all my goals for March: I didn't finish the Loud House fic for the winner of my raffle on Inkbunny, or chapter 2 of “Into the Third Dimension.” I don't blame myself for the raffle story, since the winner asked me to start over after seeing the beginning of my initial draft. But the Third Dimension thing was just me failing to realize how much this chapter needed to cover and to plan accordingly. On the other hand, I did post three chapters each of “Smooshed” and “The Red Day” this month. So I still posted six things, even if they weren't exactly the things I had aimed to post. Now, here are the six things I hope to post in April: Chapter 2 of “Into the Third Dimension” Chapters 6 and 7 of “Smooshed” Chapters 4 and 5 of “The Red Day” (which will be the last ones) The raffle story (which remains untitled so far)

The next chapter of “Smooshed” is ready for your eyeballs! Chapter 5: She Didn’t Blind Me With Science, but She Made Me Squint a Little
-
Chapter 3 of “The Red Day” is posted! Incident 3: 18 Vine Street

I feel like I have finally hit my stride with "Depravity Falls": After writing a lot of random text for various chapters, I have finally outlined the thing and run the outline by Eh Steve, who is my alpha and beta reader for this story. I should be ready to start posting chapters in 2 months or so. Meanwhile, "Smooshed" continues apace. I've finished chapter 5; I just need to give it a read-through before it goes off to beta. That said, it's been pointed out to me that there are continuity errors in the sex scenes of one or more of the existing chapters, so I'll need to go back and look for those. Chapter 2 of “Third Dimension” continues to drag on (15k words and counting). I was hoping to post it by the end of the month, but that seems unlikely now. On the other hand, chapter 3 of "The Red Day" should be posted tomorrow.

Re: “Can’t Resist Her” From ANON - SSB123 on March 26, 2022 I don’t have immediate plans for a sequel, but I’d be open to it if I had a good enough idea for one. -
@GrayNeko From GrayNeko on March 25, 2022 Yeah, a couple of people on AO3 didn’t like her makeover, either. (One was particularly disappointed by the electrolysis.) My feeling is that if Arms had just had the pointy nose, or the buck teeth, or the flat chest, or the hairy pits, I might have left it alone. But since she has all four of those issues, and since she clearly didn't like having hairy pits, I thought it would be fun -- and funny -- to have her completely make herself over once she discovers Earth's many beauty-related resources. In a way, you’ve already found out, but all will be made clear by the end. You’ll find out soon. Aw, crud, I hate when I do that, but thanks for mentioning it. I’ll have to read through those chapters again. Are there any specific instances you can think of?

The second chapter of “The Red Day” is posted! Incident 2: St. Lucia Academy

Well, things are taking a little longer than expected with chapter 2 of “The Red Day,” so now I expect to post it tomorrow instead of today. On the other hand, chapter 4 of “Smooshed” is back from beta, and now it’s posted! Chapter 4: Four-Warned Is Four-Armed As for “Third Dimension,” I’m just slogging through chapter 2 as best I can, trying to write all the text that needs to be written. Then I’ll go through it and prune anything that looks like filler.

Chapter 2 of “Into the Third Dimension” has become The Thing That Wouldn’t Die. It’s over 12,000 words now and still not finished. Not that it will necessarily be that long, because I’ll probably cut some stuff, but I have no idea when it’s actually going to be ready to go to beta, let alone to post. On the other hand, chapter 2 of “The Red Day” should be ready to post tomorrow. And chapter 4 of “Smooshed” is in beta.

Re: “Lincoln’s Lesson” From Nick on March 18, 2022 Thank you! It just takes practice, and caring about getting two things right: the characters and the language (ie, grammar and punctuation). That’s pretty much how it is for everybody. Thank you again!

Re: “Father’s Love” From ANON - Aphrodite on March 19, 2022 Thank you! You might also enjoy “Fun in the Oven,” which is in a very similar vein. (I’ll confess that I wrote it partly because people liked “Father’s Love” so much.) -
