“Comfort and Joy” is finally done! And only 8 days after Christmas.

I am building a small solar-powered toy robot. 

At this point, I’m assuming the “educational” aspect of this toy for children is the eighty page assembly booklet, in Chinese.

COUPLE OF KIDS LAST WEEK AT WORK: We’ve never heard of BlackAdder. What is it?

KID AT WORK TODAY: I didn’t know who George Michael was until I saw the news this morning.

Clearly, these kids live on a different planet to the one I inhabit.

I've asked myself this a lot when writing: does the length of a chapter matter?

I have managed to resist the urge to write an F/F fic about Michelle Obama and Melania Trump’s transition meeting.

Wondering if we’re going to have a Halloween round robin this year… it was fun last year.

I have now lost 34 pounds since July 11!

For once, I’m kind of glad that I live in a US state where the presidential candidates don’t bother to campaign.

I begin to suspect that people have lost their minds in this area. Late last night, a crazed streaker raced over my roof with police in hot pursuit, waking half the neighborhood. Seems there is some new drug out here that makes people hallucinate, strip, and even try to eat other people. Why??????

Editing on my phone between tasks at work is turning out to be weirdly effective.  Huh.
