  1. no meal is complete without it. Did you miss me?
  2. yeah, everyday when my kids go out that door, I say a small prayer which has become a password so sacrosanct that they now do not leave unless I say it, even if they are burning with hatred. Life is uncertain. Mothers and fathers are blamed equally when things go wrong, but in some cases the best of all worlds, and the child still goes askew. "There, but for the grace of God, go I." sort of thing. In this society, where the psychological ramifications of every word you say and every action and inaction are put under the microscope, we often forget that sometimes we are just helplessly caught up in a current that seems to have no rhyme or reason. Just do your best and be good.
  3. so how the hell did that happen? (I know, the water, the orgy...) Come to think of it, I think I caught that dastardly flu that ectrae and Nanaea had before the break. I wouldn't rule it out. Kind of like psychic...or something. Well, sex does lead to such things eventually...
  4. better late than never. got home safe and sound, SO is singing innane tunes about being happy to be home again in a Bing Crosby kind of way (what a doofus!) and I'm numb from head to toe. Accomplishment #1: we named the beast that we drove. I called it the "Big Shiny" since low beams were so bright, all the BC drivers we met on the road flashed us as they passed (meanies). All the Alberta drivers did nothing, since the Yellowhead is divided, but even so, we were flashed twice, and the Manitoba drivers flashed politely from a distance. (we went through Saskatchewan during the day). We considered muddying up the lenses. es. es. ? ne way, started off the holiday sick, partied when we had to, shopped till we dropped, had an incredible choral experience at my sister-in-law's, drank Belgian beer, caught a cold from the other in-laws (on the way back) and appreciated God, the weather, and BC. Happy New Year to all who read this, and I resolve to forgive everyone this year. (New Year's Eve was spent with Grissom, thank you very much!)
  5. Incredible! (Knorg, you have laser eyes or something!)
  6. [small voice] I'm apathetic [/small voice] That being said, I'd just like to say, "I've known all along" that journalists and people like Mr Black (sure, I'm bone-picking here) feed the people what they want them to know. Every time I see a boring "filler" story on the news, I'm always thinking: "What aren't they telling us?"
  7. I've resolved to forgive everyone. Magnanamous of me, don't you think?
  8. I take my example from the Lion King where the mom grabs the cub and licks em. The animal kingdom has much to teach us. LOL sry, couldn't keep a straight face. I'm just glad we survived this far without loosing any. The greatest tragedy has to be a small coffin.

    I Am...

I am amazed at the redness of his glasses, which makes him so outstanding I am also getting ready to leave for the belly-button of the continent tomorrow, so I am also bidding everyone here adieu I am having difficulty extracting myself from the keyboard for I am thinking I have so much to do and so little time to do it in, yet... I am addicted.
  11. nah, he just touched his tongue to a 9-volt battery
  12. most men are colorblind as well, but the gene is carried by the female, even though the female is not colorblind. It's attached to that extra little sex-defining chromosome. so, loosely defined, colorblindness is a sexual trait, then, follows, lefthandedness as well...one would think....

  17. it's called Final Fantasy for a reason. If any Final Fantasy be redone, let it be the one with Terra, Edgar, Locke, Celes, Shadow, Gau, Sabin, & Setzer
  18. one of my friends has a brain tumor and one day it numbed her right side, so she's learning to use her left for writing. Its a real struggle for her. She said when her right hand suddenly didn't work (she was in a restaurant at the time) she was angry that it didn't follow her directions.
  19. i was going to say something significant here...um...lost my thought...OH YEAH. Anyway, when people get hypnotized (I'm not sayin I ever have , how embarrassing!) when told to fall forward, 20% of those under these conditions will actually fall back.
