That’s how I feel about basketball… but that’s mostly because I hate jerseys.

Welp, I know what’s gonna end up being in my weird arse dreams tonight.

Nope definitely not a sunburn.  I’m a guy, so my normal routine is to wait until things are actually hanging out or falling off before going to the doctor.  But if it does it again then I might do something about it.  Or possibly wait for it to do it another 15 or 20 times first. lol

For a lot of us women, it’s tied to menstrual cycles and/or pregnancy. But it can also be a symptom of a mild reaction to something—a new detergent. a new soap or lotion, something you don’t use routinely—if it’s an infrequent thing. That would apply to men as well, I should think.

Just so  long as it’s not bad sunburn. Dear gods, that’s unpleasant as the hells…

Sometimes your nerve endings in any part of your body can become sensitive or inflamed. I get it in the skin of my arms and legs on occassion. It’s not like a rash, it doesn’t get discoloured and the texture doesn’t change, it’s just increasingly sensitive to touch and cold, and sometimes can get painful. When it comes to the nipples, specifically, it’s a naturally sensitive part of your body. More so for some people than others, regardless of gender. It cooould be sign of a hormonal shift, which could be caused by food your eating, or medical issues, medications.
Since this is the second time, I’d consider what has changed about your routine around the time that it started. You can also go to a naturopath and request a full hormone workup, which is pretty much just a spit test where they ship it off and give you a report of your hormone levels. At least in canada, GPs will only test your testosterone and estrogen, but you got more hormones than that, lol.

Hmm interesting.  I’ll have to take closer note next time it happens.  At least if a woman complains of that in the future, I’ll be able to sympathise properly, because it’s not a terribly nice feeling.

So that’s actually worked out ok. But, honestly, the next user along will be bigger and meatier than me and make a much better…

Funnily enough, it’s quite the opposite on this side of the pond… It does depend a bit on the country, but the Scandinavians especially are quite fine with swinging all of their male or female “assets” at the cameras, but get a bit squeamish about blowing someone’s head off…

Kinda like today, where’s its perfectly acceptable to show a person’s head getting blown off in a show, but, heaven forbid, you suggest his woman has tits….?

I think it’s sweet there was once a time the archive was innocent enough to require a “There may be… language” warning on fuckfics.

If Minor½ were a tag, I’d probably have used it by now. (I’m sure at least some readers would agree that in utero sex deserves its own trigger tag.)

Didn’t realize you did that.  Though I supposed a spurious [nosex] tag mixed into the lot would raise some suspicion.   More practically, a wall of tags can be intimidating to potential readers, so there’s no real incentive to overtag (this was part of the impetus for me to adopt my current approach, helping the reader figure out which tags are the very important ones to pay attention to, ie, my stories tend to feature a lot of [exhib] and minor1/2).
    * My autocorrect wanted to make that “1/2” into ½.  I don’t know if I want to know the meaning to [minor½]

Oh, yeah, I knew it wasn’t perfect. I’d noticed a lot of stories with the “Fic” of the old format “RapeFic” tag left behind, and realised it didn’t matter enough to go and delete it since the main part of the tag had moved. I’d also noticed the “D” but didn’t twig which one it had been part of until I just recently tried searching for a MC tag and found far more for me than there should have been.
As bad as undertagging stories can be, overtagging is another thing that winds me up. A few times I’ve seen some story with loads of my favorite tags and clicked it, and found three hundred words about a character waking up late for high school and “Lol! will have good stuff in later chapters! This was hard work getting this much down! Read and review!”

That would also be wildly inaccurate, and defeat the purpose of tagging things. The issue was one of minor inconvenience, since the script confused tags that aren’t used routinely on stories. When I see a tag that doesn’t fit, I look at the summary and I can tell where the script lifted the inaccurate tag. It’s not very difficult, and I haven’t gotten any emails from readers who were upset by the occasional unnecessary “Herm” or “Bi” tag.
On the other hand, if we add all tags to all stories, my inbox will overflow with hysterical emails from readers who want to know why we don’t publish stories without  [insert tag of your choice here] or from fetishists upset that the story didn’t contain [insert tag of your choice here].

So were my examples. I was actually wondering, for a brief time, if I’d need a form response to emails asking why we didn’t have stories featuring [fill in the blank]. I got as far as,
“Hi, I rather imagine we don’t have any stories featuring robotic kittens sodomizing dead mice in a tub of rancid Velveeta because there doesn’t really seem to be a high level of interest in that particular fetish, and in any event, let’s be realistic here—Velveeta can’t become rancid because it’s not really food in the first place. It’s barely organic.”
And then I decided I’d just wing it…

Yeah, there were a few tags that caused issues. Any mention of Hermione in a summary generated a “Herm” tag as well, if I remember that correctly. I fix what I catch as I sweep.

Sorry, forgot to add the   emoji to that last post, wasn’t serious about doing that!   It’d cause as much chaos as dropping a naked boy into an Amish market.
