Cal, in your profile for the archive? I'm pretty sure we don't have any options to add pictures in the stories themselves, and I also don't think that's in the works. If it's for your profile, this FAQ sort of explains it. I use Photobucket to host the pictures I want as avatars, because it's free, and I can copy the link from Photobucket and drop it in for the archive avatar easily.
