  5. As I recall, that was exactly what she did. She posted a quick summary of the ending and told readers to buy the book to see how it turned out.

  13. Prompt: Frigid "For Ferelden" Hey! Long time, no see! Thank you for your thoughtful review - I've always enjoyed your take on this game, and you've hit on one of the things I love and hate about writing for the prompts. I have a mere thousand words to work with. I did try and touch on the other combatants in the previous prompt piece in this series, but it is hard to keep that continuity, isn't it? One of these days, when I have the ambition, I intend to combine this series into one fiction, as opposed to a series of related oneshots, and that might help marginally. Plus then I get to tweak and edit, and make use of solid concrit like this. Thanks again for taking the time to review. I love hearing what works and what doesn't!

  21. I'm mostly Irish. The rest is Swedish, which leads to an occasional desire to pillage myself. And drink mead.

  23. I'm editing and posting an older fanfic of mine, with a female protagonist. Het is not my strongest area for smut, but I do like heavy innuendo, and although the fic is not explicit, it's certainly suggestive. I find I get far fewer hits, not because it's an older game fandom, but because it's het. The slash is what "sells" in a sense. Still, I'll persist because I'm enjoying fleshing out the female canon characters and my PC protagonist, and making them strong and realistic women.

  25. I've seen it called automatic writing (not in the occult sense) or spontaneous writing. Kerouac is also associated with spontaneous writing. And Dubliners are incoherent due to proximity to the Guinness brewery... Which sort of explains more than a few of my friends and family.
