went from 75 on Wednesday, to 25 today. UGH. Even had snow last night

Got the ladder, my computer, and some coffee, and am now sitting contentedly on my roof.

So for one it's weird to see the number 26 on my age now, i better get used to it i guess. Though, life around here can't ever be just boring lol. In the afternoon yesterday the demon fractured her elbow and I ended up taking her to the ER, so i have to have the cake today. What a way to spend your birthday, never dull though is it?

Dr. Sister rocked the Cancer Society this weekend! Kiddo owned the stage at Dance Competition. TeenBoy went up against some of the best b-ballers in the nation, and, well, only won one game, but he managed to be the team's high scorer! Good weekend all around after the funeral! Go Team PW!

I feel a little better, though my mood isn't exactly as cheery as usual. I feel...stifled somehow, though I don't know how. I also had some kind of strange dream last night that made me toss and turn for hours. I barely slept at all...

Sadly it is my birthday tomorrow and I have nothing planned. Well I take that back, laundry is planned and possibly having to bake my own cake. At least it will be what i like.

So I made it to GA, now the countdown really starts! Best of news though! I prepaid for a regular room, BUT it was being renovated early, so I got a free upgrade to a full fledged suite!!!

the week has been hell for me. monday there was a shootout in one of the near-by towns... and then a fire... tuesday hubby came home sick and was here all day wednesday. yesterday was okay but wanted to breathe.. and today, my son decides to trip over his own feet and hit his face on a sharp corner! i'm debating on taking him to the hospital to make sure he doesn't have a concussion

had forgotten how poignant military funerals are ... my granddad, a bronze star veteran, was greeted at the cemetery by a full honor guard. It was even more touching when the lead officer stepped forward to inform the family that he had known my granddad from the railroad so long ago. There is some so very moving and touching at the sound of taps being played while the flag is so ceremoniously and reverently folded ...

I feel awful inside. Even worse, I have no one to talk to or confide in.
