  1. It's always interesting to see an artist's evolution, isn't it?

  2. From the shoutbox: BronxWench :(17 January 2011 - 08:47 PM)::perks up:: What kind of muchrooms? I idly wonder what that word would mean, if it was real.
  3. Angsty and moody! I have to agree with your assessment of the two guys you mentioned.

  4. Well, your J-boys are pretty, too. But they're so funny and perky and I'm a sucker for brooding, emotionally damaged types (*cough*Sam*cough*Dean*cough*).

  5. All too true! Those lips... and those puppy eyes... *loses train of thought*

  6. In response to "Sammy, Sammy, Dean" I can only say: DROOL. And other assorted incoherent noises. :D

  7. I condemn you to an eternity of magpies and ravens, crows and hawks, and all sorts of sharp-beaked birds of carrion and prey, an eternity of ocular pain. For plagues shall be scorched from the holy land of AFF with fire and steel and doomed to an eternity of mockery and suffering. In other words, you fucking suck.

  8. BronxWench: I wrote this prompt in less than an hour, and it shows. It's riddled with mistakes and it's only been rewritten once before posting! That sort of mistakes is definitely the kind of thing I missed due to it being SO rushed. I didn't have time to ponder how a phrase sounded, I just had to get it out. I do appreciate the concrit though, and I take it to heart. I'll keep this in mind for next time, to teach me not to postpone it for the last moment. Word count was exactly 1000, as always, so yeah. I'm glad you liked it and found the little ambience descriptions evocative. It's good that it was still present in spite of my rampant frenzy to get it out. Thank you again! Anesor: Well, this is a very particular paladin. Highly... unorthodox. FairySlayer: Great point! Indeed, Jeddek isn't exactly discouraging future behaviour in this way. And heh, you're very close to the heart of the question. LOL, it's one of those unorthodox things Auran does. And I can't believe I didn't think of that, too! *makes mental note for later* Ack! I have a neutral relationship with adverbs. On the one hand, I come from a scientific background, where we're taught that brevity and conciseness is key. Adverbs satisfy those two tenets wonderfully. On the other hand, I'm sure it's more interesting to read "with the chill of a howling blizzard," rather than "coldly." So you'll probably witness my struggle with adverbs for a long time. Hahah, wow! That's really saying something! I'm very glad to hear that. It's so very rare to hear that from someone who's not into a fandom! I believe that has made my week! JD: I'll take your word for it! Hmmm, they should seek shelter, shouldn't they? It's awfully chilly, after all. Let's hope they remember that! And yes, Auran, confident as he might be, was playing a dangerous game here. And that's precisely why he liked it. Storyline B... well, might not go the way most expect. Especially with "Morpheus" canoodling about. Apollo: Hah, I suppose I've teased long enough.
  9. Hah, I had forgotten to vote. I have 12 other miscreants to wreck havoc with. Hmmmmm. I'd have expected the lustful to be a vast majority!
  10. That test is heavily biarsed (misspelling intentional). Thought is not the same as deed. Other than that, ROFL, I haven't perused the thread, but I don't recall seeing anyone scoring this high.
  11. Seventh Level of Hell I am most pleased with my result. I shall inflict unfathomable pain upon all those who stand in my way. They probably send me to Heaven to save themselves the headache of figuring out where to put me where when (if!) I die. Purgatory: Repenting Believers: Very Low Level 1 - Limbo: Virtuous Non-Believers: Very Low Level 2: Lustful: High Level 3: Gluttonous: High Level 4: Prodigal and Avaricious: High Level 5: Wrathful and Gloomy: Very High Level 6 - The City of Dis: Heretics: Extreme Level 7: Violent: Extreme Level 8- the Malebolge: Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers: High Level 9 - Cocytus: Treacherous: High
  12. Your new "I molested myself" icon had me rolling on the floor with laughter! :D

  13. Pen Name: Shadow Knight. Story link: What A Long, Strange Trip It Has Been, Chapter Two. Review replies link: Review Replies for What A Long, Strange Trip It Has Been. Type of fic: FlashFic. Rating: Adult. Fandom: World Of Warcraft. Pairing: Jeddek/Auran. Warnings: AFFO, ChallengeFic, M/M, NoSex (for now), OC, WIP.
  14. I see you've escalated from respiratory rape to the ocular kind... my, oh my.
  15. Currently not able to type a long post, this is something that can get you going for the time being. At the very least it's good for the tail: http://www.missmab.com/Demo/Fashion03.php
  16. Ahh, good point there about guilt. I hadn't considered that angle, actually. I'm waiting in anticipation to see when Wraith and Alistair breach the Tamlen topic. Very well handled, indeed. HAH, I take everything seriously! Good that it's finally a gift instead of a curse, eh? And besides, you give me concrit as well, it's the least I can do.
  17. This is amazing! I envy thee with utmost passion! Gorgeous picture, really. Simply wonderful.
  18. More reviews! Woohoo! JayDee: No, unfortunately. We'll just see what'd happen if Auran and/or Jeddek behaved differently in reaction to the same stimulus. Jeddek is still very much stunned, but starting to clue in. Thank you on the imagery bit, I find it hard to convey what my mind sees, so I'm glad it shows through. pittwitch: Heheh, yeah, Serrenth is a fun character to write. He might show up in a line or two during the prompts, if only to add some humour. FairySlayer: Eggnog! I forgot about that one! And yes, Northrend in general is a land of ice, snow and/or undead. There will be more of that in the next chapter (including undead hanky panky!). And let it not be said Auran is not enthusiastic about celebrations. Good predictions, all of that is definitely going to be touched upon. Nice that you picked up on the implications of carrying around a weather-controlling artifact! Indeed, Auran's persuasiveness knows no boundaries. And well, this is more or less what Jeddek looks like, for those unfamiliar with the fandom: And since I'm at it, my take on Auran, only with a different hairstyle:
  19. I agree with JD and BW above. I might add "festivities" or "seasonal imagery" too. Evergreen throws me off, though.
  20. My handwriting is terrible. Seriously, I teach courses on deciphering it. I also tend to press pens very hard against the paper (to the point where I can't use pencils, because I'll break them), so the sheets in my notebooks end up curling like used parchment. I am also prone to mixing up languages, which means typos. I hate typos. All of this combines to make me vastly prefer typing to writing. I'm a very fast typist and a rabid editor, so typing will always be more efficient and satisfying to me than handwriting. Which is really only suitable for when a computer is unreachable or infeasible to keep around. EDIT: I had a typewriter once. Loved it, because it allowed me to type forcefully (I had to learn how to type gently when handling keyboards), but it was very unforgiving of mistakes.
  21. Apollo: Oh, I'll be explaining how our stalwart paladin got the Orb. If not in the next update, then in the one after that. Glad you're looking forward to the split storylines, I'm looking forward to writing them!
  22. Techno-Ninja: Thank you! Glad it came across well. The foreshadowing is... subtle as a frying pan to the clavicle, so I hope I can execute it well later on.
  23. BronxWench: Thank you for the review! I figured that since WoW has a lot of feasts all year long and these two were surprisingly good together, they would give me good fuel for the prompts. Yes, Serrenth is very snarky. I'm broken-hearted to see him go, if only temporarily. Yes, I do believe Jeddek will come to regret having picked the paladin as his companion. Out loud, even! Thank you! That's something so hard for me to include on the prompts, since I can take up a lot of words with descriptions and evocative imagery. I'm trying to learn how to do all that in fewer words. Glad it shows! The orc is very much your typical grump blue-collar worker who doesn't have time to deal with crazy people. The snark he keeps to himself is something I'll always regret not being able to show. Perhaps he might appear again and I might be able to remedy that! Jeddek is very much stunned right now. His brain is, more or less, on autopilot. He knows he should be, you know, taking a moment to stop and think things through, but Auran's not about to let him do that.

Fandom: World Of Warcraft. Pairing: Jeddek/Auran. Yeah, it's official now. I'm shipping those two. Hard. Warnings: AFFO, ChallengeFic, M/M, NoSex (for now), OC, WIP.
