I am very grateful for all the help I have gotten so far . I agree that using "penis" does sound too clinical but what I think the hardest thing for a writer is figuring out what euphemisms you can use, and defining the line between reasonable and ridiculous. But I guess that is something you have to figure out as you go along

Here's a nice mental mind fuck - First of all, just spent the last 1/2 hour bawling over kikyo's death in the manga (VERY DEPRESSING) but then we came back to Sesshomaru and met a very interesting person. Okay, so basically this topic is to show the differences between characters, plot lines, and ending of the manga and tv show. The one example I have for now is Sesshomaru and Kagura; 1. Kagura becomes a protagonist I am pretty sure that it was in chapters 368-374 that Kagura changes sides, betraying Naraku, Hakudoushi and Muromaru (Naraku's incarnation; and I know muromaru is spelled wrong). 2. Naraku returns Kagura's heart In these chapters as well, Naraku meets up with Kagura and returns her heart to her; then he peirces her with his tentacles (?) and injects her with his poisonous miasma, killing her slowly. 3. Kagura was in love with Sesshomaru Sesshomaru meets with Kagura but is unable to save her with Tenseiga. Kagura thinks that Sesshomaru came for her because she smells of Naraku, but Sesshomaru tells her that he knew it was her. Kagura's final words were "in the end, I got to see you" Thats it for now... but you see the difference of portrayal. I have read several stories that involve explicit sex and I have found that sexual scenes written in an artful way are more of a turn on then those that well end up like this: I am reading a very interesting article right now about the mechanics of sexual scenes in writing. Okay, here's the dealeo. I am writing a story (InuYasha, SessxKag - Yes I know the pairing is overdone but here me out) and I am desperately seeking help with the title and summary. Now before you think this is a ploy so you guys will read my story, it is not an intentional one although that is how it would work out. Originally when I wrote the story, the title seemed perfect, but that damn little plot bunny in my head suddenly morphed into a monster of epic proportions (okay, well maybe not epic BUT you get my point). So, I need a more suitable title and I really need help with the summary - they are weak. The problem is coming up with a good summary... Speaking of which, I need help with mine... I know its not interesting at all and I want to cry simply because I know if I had a better summary more people would read it... Help? Anyone?

I agree... I know exactly how it feels too. I am writing a story that I really like and want desperately to write it well but I am feeling really burnt out. It takes me a week and a half to write it, then I spend four days just editing it

Okay, I'll admit that I am a Sess/Kag writer (don't kill me) but I don't really think its fair to group all those stories as fangirling stories. For instance, this story is my FIRST InuYasha fanfiction, but I also wrote a oneshot that is...well... I guess its General... Its a darkfic. >.< And my next one is going to be and InuYasha/KAg fic, and I have a Shippo/ Rin, and a Shippo/Souten idea coming up in the future... So it's not all fangirls...
