Joe, so you're saying Magusfang is just like Dexter. Bad deeds are justified if the person's intentions were good. End justifying the means. (I know he was only kidding). Right.......

not that they are justified (that's another show!) but that he can be calm and cool while doing the job he was sent to do.

I'd suggest reading this close to true life story that he's involved in

http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/topic/60282-choices-in-originals/

The author (magus' #2 wife) was talking about ch2 in the shout box today. magus goes to her dorm room to confront her, the roomie's boyfriend comes after magus with a baseball bat, but he tosses him aside all while maintaining a calm conversation with her.

I'm laving out a lot of details to not spoil it. If you don't know his story, please read. It is quite unique, and he and his wives are quite entertaining in the SB.

And, in case you didn't pick up on my phrasing, a special operator is one who engages in special operations

I'm disappointed Dexter was mentioned on this forum before The Sopranos. ;)

Last week I got to meet up with Jashley13 in perso for the first time. It was a great time! I imagine all of you know of him - if not, look him up. We had a great time together. I'm taller than him. Don't tell him I bragged about that.

Bashful, the Sopranos series was great. However, I was going for the lone maniac doing crazy things for a greater purpose when I mentioned Dexter. Glad you got to meet up with Jashley. It's interesting to imagine what some of the authors on this site are like in real person. Looking forward to next chapter.

I'll never tell. Maybe I'm 6'4. ;)

Actually in Canada we still use feet and inches for how tall people are. Literally everything else though... Liters, meters, Celsius, you name it, all metric.

I've been using Hulu to watch TV shows from a variety of English peaking countries, such as England, Canada and Australia. I notice that all of them are not fully committed to metric.

We were watching New Tricks from the BBC in England last night when the detective had to data into a computer. "Enter victim's weight in kilograms - I don't know, she was about 9 stone!"

For Canada, I've mostly been watching Cold Squad off and on (up to season 4), which is set in Vancouver.

You're one up on me! I don't watch television at all, really. Just Night Court, older Doctor Who and Corner Gas. That's about it.

I don't watch a lot of shows, tending towards cops and space (loved the new Battlestar Galactica) Elementary, the modern take of Sherlock Holmes in New York is one of my favorites.

Te last couple years I've gotten into both the Marvel and DC TV shows - Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Gotham, Arrow and Flash

It runs dry in the summer, so then I dig thru Hulu to find the foreign English shows. New Tricks from the BBC is a hilarious cop show, and they also have MI-5 aka Spooks over there

A year ago today, some starry-eyed 18-year-old put his first story on XNXX. Can't believe it's been that long.

Thanks for sticking with me for a whole freaking year, anyone who reads this. :) Next year I'll try to have more than 12 freaking chapters finished.

Happy anniversary to an author and story whose talents I can only dream of matching someday :)

Hey, Bashful!

Just found this story after so long. Catching up in my reading. I think I'm on chapter 7 right now and just wow! I can't believe Nicole left Adam like that! And for Phil?!?! Ouch! You have an amazing way of writing that really provokes emotion in me. Adam might be depressed but I am furious with Nicole. Just wow.

Also! Happy anniversary (Sorry this is late lol)!

I've started it, but I can't say it's very far along at all, I'm afraid. I'm still trying though, bear with me.

I hope y'all enjoy the new series. :) If not, I'm open to criticisms etc. from you all.

LushStories rejected my story because they didn't want to post a story containing sexual content with minors. Apparently, Daisy's knowledge of sex counts, even if nothing happens between them.

Now I know where not to send mine. (Well, your's is only on chapter one, we don't know that nothing WILL happen between them. Maybe in 6 years!)

There was a discussion at Reason.com of Jared Fogle's conviction for porn and sex with minors. I am certainly not advocating anyone be forced into having sex for the camera or for prostitution - but physically mature teenagers do have consensual sex, all the time, and why should writing fictional stories about how they may or may not be emotionally mature automatically become porn?

Back to Fogle - he was convicted as sex with a 17 year old minor, even though, for example, I was 2 months past my high school graduation before I turned 18. 2/3 of my class were graduates and still 17. Also, from how the article was worded, the secret cameras (which should be illegal, as there's no consent) recorded people under 18 being undressed. So apparently naked but non-sexual photos of someone under 18 are also legally porn. I'm making a general comment here, not in relation to Fogle - but I wonder why some of this is classified as porn. Does someone magically become mature once they hit the day of their 18th birthday? Many are already, some will still take many more years.

It's a bit of a grey area for me. In the case of my story, a 12 year old and a 20 year old doing anything together is totally pedophilia to me, and I take that, like incest, seriously. It will not happen in my story. Sorry if that's a spoiler, but I would prefer for it not to even be a possibility in my readers' minds. That said, I find it hilarious that a 12-year-old being conscious of sex, and using that knowledge to *avoid* sex (and a healthy sex education at younger ages makes us make *better* sexual choices later in life, not worse ones) is taboo.

I'm not denouncing lushstories. A moderator messaged me and said it was for legal reasons and they wanted to not get sued into oblivion by overzealous legal types. Go figure. I might even consider making a modified version without Daisy being such an aware character just for that site. I mean, all in all it lookalike a very good website.

Age of consent (for sex) here is 16 for both males and females. Although any pornographic images have to be over 18, we had a talk on it a few years ago in school, mostly it was to let us know that even though we were at the age of consent, it was still considered a crime to have, create or distribute indecent images of anyone under 18, consenting or not.

Not claiming you would. I made a point to say "physically mature" which obviously Daisy is not, and suggested maybe the future was 6 years foreward.

It's easy to know when a person has physically matured, and each person is somewhat different. We fall along a distribution curve. You have to get to know a person to know if and when they are emotionally mature and capable of making informed, adult decisions. I would assume it follows the same normal curve distribution, with some like Daisy able to think like an adult at 12, while many may be in their 20's and still be incapable - but in that case, in the US, a bright line is drawn at the 18th birthday. If a 21 year guy had sex with a female who's 17.364, he committed a felony, but the next day she's his girlfriend. It is easier to draw a line down around 12-14, at about the same place as physical maturity, because there would be very few false negatives. I think trying to draw that bright of a line right through the middle, where there's little difference on either side, is bad policy and can create unjust prosecutions.
