3. What Am I to You?
That's very sweet, and I'm sure Frosty would be touched. It really covers all the bases of people's reactions. I couldn't help but think of all the times as a kid I'd sneak out at night just to look at the snow-covered yards and fields under the moonlight.

And I HATE being out in the cold.

What a lovely comment. I grew up in the Northeast, and I still miss the snow. Nothing else can transform the world around you the way snow does.

Ah, now this I get! A kid and the snow.

Yup, based on my own fond memories.

First of all I thought it was meant as a snowperson, but it’s the snow itself! Time to put the magic frosty hat on that full snowy field of white and see if it becomes even more a bother.

And suddenly Christmas becomes Halloween. :)

It’s like the magic of a snowy day for a kid, and it’s great that it’s clearly a kid the weather’s talking too, it feels like if it was to an adult or a couple the tone’d be different, but there’s that real sense of play, I remember that, decades ago! Now… now it’s just a nuisance.

Right. I was trying to capture how our perception of snow changes over our lifetime.

Thanks for the review!

Aww!  I love that while I was writing smut and Invidia was writing apocalyptic drama, somebody was holding down the traditional holiday spirit.

It’s nice to cover all the bases. Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll be back to smut next year. :)

This is a wonderful little piece of poetry about everyone's experience with winter days.

Thank you!

Well, almost everyone.  As a Florida Man, I do not experience this, but it seems accurate!

Wait, you’re Florida Man? I see you in the news all the time. :)

I like the sequential nature of it, moving from the initial reaction to seeing the first flakes falling, to kids playing and having snowball fights, to the adult grumbling about shoveling the driveway, and finally to maximum coziness relaxing inside while snow falls outside (hot chocolate mandatory).

This is all pretty autobiographical. I remember snow in all of these ways.

Thanks for the review!
