DrunkenScotsman Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 I was wondering if it was against the rules to post a single fic in both the Anime and the Manga domains, since the work in question (Rosario+Vampire) has entries in both areas, and the fic could fit pretty well in either domain. The fic is currently posted already, in the Anime domain. Or might there be some way to "cross-list" the fic; i.e., have it appear with the same hits and reviews in both sections? PS Apologies if this question is in the wrong place - I wasn't sure where else to post it. Quote
BronxWench Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 This is the right place, but sadly, the answer is no. We only allow cross-posting if a story has been translated into another language. Quote
RogueMudblood Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 Just as a side note - we couldn't (currently) make it have the same hits and reviews in both sections because the tables are different. It's like having files on your computer - you put it in Folder A and Folder B on the same day, but modify the one in Folder A on Tuesdays and the on in Folder B on Fridays. It's going to show the individual data to each file. But like Bronx said, cross-posting is one thing we don't allow unless it's a translation. Quote
DrunkenScotsman Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Posted July 29, 2013 I was afraid of that. Thanks for the answers anyway! Quote
DemonGoddess Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 How you determine where your story belongs, is which series of arcs you're writing for. If you're writing for the manga based arcs, you post to manga. Anime based arcs to anime. Quote
DrunkenScotsman Posted August 1, 2013 Author Report Posted August 1, 2013 Thanks, DemonGoddess. That makes sense for the most part; I'm working on one currently that's definitely "anime domain." In the future, I guess that means I'll just have to make sure my fics clearly fit into one category or the other. Quote
