I've been reading posts and it seems that the gender balance is skewed heavily to female around here at the moment. I thought I'd knock out a poll and see if enough people responded to confirm it...

The something else is for anyone who consideres themselves currently between genders or similar. I ain't getting into transpolitics!

I'm a girl, always have been, always will be. LOL the PMS sucks, but you get used to it.

I've had friends tell me I'm "one of the guys" and it's cool, I'm laid back like a guy. So take it as you want. (As long as you don't use salt cause it's bad for you!! LOL I made a pun!!)

LOL, I'm just me. wink.gif Biologically I'm female, but I had ovarian cancer and had all my inner girl parts removed at 30. But I have always been a "tom boy" (Do they use that term anymore?) Fishing, training dogs and horses, catching lizards with my 20 year old son. Writing stories, playing naughty games with the husband...

I'm just 'gender neutral" I guess, I don't consciously THINK about whether I am female or not. But no I am not a "frilly" girl. Haven't worn a dress or skirt in like maybe 22 years? LOL! Always jeans and a T-shirt with some dog training or martial arts slogan on it.

Does that count?? <evil grin>

Guy here. For the longest time I never put much thought into it, really: the male to female ratio in fan fiction, and how women typically hold the superior numbers. I usually don’t assign a gender to an author unless I really get to know them, and even then, I never ask to make certain. Sex, gender doesn’t seem very important to me in a virtual community where everyone’s a pseudonym and can show others exactly what they want them to see.

I get the impression that there’s a higher percentage of males in the Video Game fandoms, but even then I’m not so sure. Doesn’t matter, it’s the quality of an individual’s work that’s always my prime concern.

I spent long enough trying to figure out everything that I actually came up with this handy little chart thinger....

Physical Gender-Female.

Sexuality-Omnisexual.

Gender-Neutral-in the state of mostly harmonious balance of masculine and feminine qualities.

Sexual Identity-Dominate/Top/Aggressor

It was easiest considering people get confused by the way I talk and act. I can change a carburator and bake a cake from scratch. I'm just a bit special like that.

Is it bad that I have Jojo's "How to Touch a Girl" in my head? lol

I'm also 100% female, we'ere better creative thinkers ladies, which makes us better writers. Teehee. *Hides behind Knorg hoping the males don't stone her.*

That depends. I think creativity varies from person to person, not between genders. And besides, most men are busy not writing porn but fapping to pictures of it- because it's not as much work. LOL

I'm a guy. Nice to meet you.

I'm female. I know how to use a screwdriver and a drill, I know my way with computers and I'm actually quite good in physics and mathematics. All the gender tests say I'm a male, but I almost always wear skirts at home, I bake, knit and know where my stuff is.

Girls like well written erotica, not porn. Well, at least this girl does, anyway. biggrin.gif

PWP, what's not to like ^.^

Female...so says the parts...and part of the mind...but I am more guy than girl otherwise. LOL Married (to a male) mom of 5 little ones here...but yeah, I'm more "tomboy"...of course, being bi (not that I'd admit that anywhere else online unless I already know them) helps. LOL

I'm a baseball fanatic, so on certain baseball boards, I never tell my gender unless directly asked. Many men are shocked by my knowledge of the game. Even at the local minor league games, I've had guys comment when I'D be the one explaining plays to my kids. "Wow, you know a lot about the game." I swear one of these days I WILL ask "Are you surprised because I'm female or becaues you never knew that fact yourself?" LOL

35 and haven't worn a dress in....9 years. Bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding, didn't really have a choice...and before that, the last time I wore a dress I was 4. Jeans/jean shorts and t-shirts is it for me. "Dress Down" means my fav. baseball themed t-shirt (picture of home late with "Step Into My Office" on it)..."Dress Up" to me means pulling out one of my Red Sox shirts/jersey's. LOL

As for the reading/writing...I love to write. Even as a younger teen, I was writing stories like this. I've just always been a very sexual being. Anyway, that said, I just like well written stories...especially when it involved my fav. actors/musicians...whether it's PWP or something else. I'm just not big on the romantic stories since romance isn't in my vocabulary. LOL To me...romantic is hubby bringing me home a black silk rose, a bag of rootbeer barrel candies, and the newest baseball shirt/Red Sox item of any sort.
