Guest Madapple Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I have two children. Unfortunately, the conception was not immaculate. I can safely and assuredly say: I am not a virgin. Quote
EveKnight75 Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I haven't had vaginal intercourse with a man, so I'm a virgin in that sense. Of course, very few people actually believe me on that score for some strange reason. I've never been a steady dater and I'm constantly busy. Maybe because it sounds like I know a lot about sex and I'm not afraid to be frank about the subject. I voted "Not to myself". TMI: I usually masturbate at least 3 times a day. Curse my libido! Quote
quamp Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Shouldn't this be in aimless babble? Quote
Hermione Malfoy Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I am a virgin because in my religion we're not allowed sex before marriage. I chose my religion so therefore I chose the consequences. And I'm proud of that. Quote
redsliver Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Shouldn't this be in aimless babble? Yes it should and off it goes. Quote
NightScribe Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Virgin...that's such a distant memory, it's nearly non-existent. That would be a 'no' vote. Quote
Guest Adara Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Well, I'm going on my second child...so, err, yeah. The virgin thing, that ain't happening. Quote
AmyMcClair Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I've been married for nigh on 6 years now. If I were still a virgin, my hubby would be one unhappy man. Quote
Keith Inc. Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I've been married for nigh on 6 years now. If I were still a virgin, my hubby would be one unhappy man. Unless you were Shakers.I have areas and openings that have remained virginal so far, but in the main, i haven't been a virgin since the early 80s. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Being that my husband, and not God, is the father of my unborn child... I'm going to have to go with a big "no" to the virgin thing. Quote
Iggy_lovechild Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 As my current gender I am definitely not a virgin. But as my chosen gender identity...well... give it time. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 I voted no because that's the way it is when you've givn birth to two girls - but it's been so long *sigh* that I could always check in under the "born again " catigory. Quote
Squallfan Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 Nope. I have two children myself. Ahhh, the joy of childbirth Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 Nope. I have two children myself. Ahhh, the joy of childbirth Okay seriously guys... stop freakin' me out!! Quote
Guest Serenanna Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 Unfortunately, yes, and not by choice. v.v . . . ok, maybe from lack of trying too. Sere Quote
Guest Agaib Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 I have to vote for virgin. I've been involved in sexual activity before, but I've never had intercourse. Quote
StoryJunkie Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 funny, we just had a discussion about this. round-table and all that, when the man I love blatantly declared infront of us all that i was still a virgin. After an explosive silence, my 2nd eldest, outrageously (you know, red-heads are) exclaimed: "But she's had FIVE KIDS!" And "Wouldn't you KNOW BY NOW?!!!!" and "Yeah RIIIIGHT." (I honestly don't know which one she meant to say first, she said them so fast, then laughed that "I-don't-believe-you" sort of laugh. I knew exactly what he meant though. we are virgins to everyone but each other. It was an up-beat kind of evening. Oh, the memories. (wait, that was yesterday!) (erm, I voted "no", although I was a virgin for an extended period of time. Quote
JewelMaiden Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 No, not for about 5 years now Quote
Guest DarkVampWriter Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 I am proud to be a virgin because I feel clean and innocent lol. Well the only comments I get from personal readers that I know of is "how do you write erotica when you never even had a penis inside of you?" so I am like what the hell! ohhh whatever...... I guess people will never understand me! Quote
AlphaFusion Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 Still a virgin here. I'd like to stay alone and free for some odd reasons. Quote
foeofthelance Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 Nope, not any longer. It seems we will have to depend on others to defend the Virgin's ability to write eros from now on. Quote

I guess people will never understand me! I don't know how I would ever respond to that. But the first thing that came to my mind is, "DUH, I HAVE HORMONES! Just because I've never had a penis in meh, doesn't mean I can't imagine one doing so to someone else!" LOL At least, that's how I was back when I was a virgin. Ah, memories.... Quote
Keith Inc. Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 Didn't we have this thread? I thought we concluded that virgins are perfectly capable of writing porn, same way people who've never met aliens can write scifi, or 20th century writers can write about Napolean, Shaka Zulu and Julius Caesar, or perfectly law-abiding citizenry can write about murder, rape, child abuse and reality television. On the other hand, SOME writers are so dreadful at sex scenes that one can only HOPE they have never inflicted those ideas on another human lover. Quote
