BronxWench Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 I like pairings like "thick cock" or "generous cock" rather than having someone actually give me measurements. I'm happier using my imagination as a reader. Quote
Melsiebug Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 You mean exact measurements down to the last mil of length and girth are not sexy? Damn, I was just about to write that, lol. I like the word cock too, sometimes I think I write it way too often, although I don't like people using too many synonyms either. I've read some stuff where the writer ends up sounding like some kind of porn thesaurus. I hate using the word prostate, it sounds far too medical, and internal gland is even worse (I've never used that one), but there is a limit to how many times you can put sweet spot in a single story. Anyone got a good sugestion for that one? Quote
naturechild02 Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 I have to agree with Morbid Fantasy. I use those words sometimes on purpose! If I'm writing something really dirty that's meant to be just that, then I find it funny to throw in vulgar, silly words like pussy and tits. My more serious sex scenes might use those words sometimes but i mostly use the senses to help set the mood. The taste of his lips on hers, the smell of his hair in her face, that kind of stuff is what makes the sex scene a more intimate one. It is really hard not be repetitive. There are a lot of words that I don't like to use but then I just feel like I'm using the same old stuff. I guess turn ons and turn offs just really depend on the reader. Everyone likes something different: dirty, silly, flowery, etc. I just write my own thing and hope that the ones who read it are the ones who like my words choices! (By the way, I hate penis and vagina. If you ever catch me using those it's because I'm seriously desperate for another word. Cyber slap me please!) Quote

Nerys Dax Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Penis: anaconda; wyrm (it means a limbless dragon, but if you're not in a fantasy story, people might mistake it for a worm, and that's just wrong). When it comes down to reality, however, it is by far closer to a worm than an anaconda. ;p Interesting how most of the male parts are positive, action, violently named, while the female parts are to be kept secret and hidden: the forbidden fruits, best not to be used. And you can't be serious about the "temple" or the "forbidden triangle" for a vagina, give me a break. Quote

The forbidden and hidden places should be valued and honored- I've used 'temple' and 'gates' in a particularly poetic passage. The Forbidden Triangle was a reference used in a movie I saw, but I included it for humor's sake. After all, sex is just funny if you're not the one doing it. Quote
Hairyhaggis Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 For me words that have character are more a turn on though body parts don't really do any thing for me, it's words like shoogle that will grab my attention and make me take notice. Quote
