I find it hard to describe how something (an orgasm, love, joy, pain, desperation...) feels when I don't know it from experience. It's possible to write about situations you've never been in, but not without a lot of research.

My first flame I got about one year ago. The 'story' WAS a badfic, I have to admit, but then... how was I supposed to know it any better? The flame I found per incident after I had gotten many sugary reviews. I don't have the flame any more. After it, I almost gave up writing forever... almost. No, I won't, I love writing bad stuff too much. ;-) One question remained, though: why did I have to learn it that way? Why didn't my friends and betas tell me earlier that my little scene was far from being logic? Well, today I have gotten over it. If my muse ever comes back and I find the time I will write again.

What if one of the canon males is supposed to fall in love with the female OC? This is the case in some computer games... so any female character you create will be a Sue, will she? Well, an OC who is better at everything than all canon characters is annoying, other than this, I don't care for Sue anymore.
