Two nights, I checked my kills to find that there was over 305 kills, checked last night to find my kills were now at 275 and then this evening I noticed that it was now 253?
WTH happened in the past two days?
My kills are going down.
Is this just me or is everyone else being effected by this weirdness?

I usually say something along this line: I like what I read, please post another chapter as soon as you are able to or if it is a one-shot story: I really like this one shot. Thanks for posting it.
But I try to leave a review with every story that I read.

Thanks, I am doing good and I know I can lose more weight, just sticking to it was hard this past weekend, but I did it. I defeated the temptation of having cake by having a salad come to me instead of a peice of cake even though I could have had one and not worried at all about the plan but I knew I lost 20 pounds, I knew if I didn't resist I would fall off the plan and go back to my new high within a week or two. I needed to stay strong and I did.

I lost a total of 24 pounds since I started my eating plan on Feb 27th 2008. woohoo
And that includes me going to the gym three times a week exercising for about two hours each day.
I think I may hit my goal weight by next year or at least by 2010!
64 pounds to go and who knows I may push my goal weight down by ten pounds and go for my 1993 weight of 150. No, I will not try to go past that weight or I'll be looking like a skeleton or a POW.
But I'm so excited! I stuck to my guns at the live show this past weekend when they brought over cake. I resisted the temptation to go have a few peices by calling my dad and whining they have cake help! My dad being the sweetie he is told me he'll be right over with a salad. About fifteen minutes later, he came by with a grilled chicken cesear salad and I dove into that instead of a peice of either chocolate or vanilla cake.
Just wanted to share my good news with you all!

More like not closing any of the plot holes till I think Book 6 and that could have easily have been the last book. The seventh really didn't need to be written at all especially if she had allowed someone's child who is a HP fan and swore them to secrecy about the book itself and let them tell her what they thought of it instead of just sending it off like it is.
That Endless Camping trip was like the endless writer's block trying to be broken, but what it did was caused nothing to really be happening.
I'm sure if someone's HP loving kid had read it before it was published and JK told him or her to give her an honest opinion without fear of hurting her feelings over it, told her that the camping trip was too long, she probably would have shortened it up and talked about the other things that just seemed to be bland, she would have yanked it back and started to rework the story itself to where people would say this is a great end to this great series instead of what a fucking let down for a good series and she would have made sure that characters that she claimed is gay after the fact is revealed in the book but that is not book canon so Dumbledore can remain straight if the fanfiction writers want to keep him straight.
Even I would have done that allowed someone to read over my last book and tell me what they thought and I would have told them be harsh with me this is my last book on this series I want it to be memorable for everyone who reads the last book.
But what she got was a book that most people want to forget ever was published! Including some of her long time fans wasted no time in getting rid of that book.

I didn't like it at all, it was too long and boring at times to where I actually flipped pages to find something interesting in the endless camping trip.
I didn't like it as it was so tedious and too long for my tastes.

If the e-mails were visible like they were in the begining of the site on the review board, it would be easy to get the e-mails of those who requested notification of a new chapter, but because it was changed because someone complained about getting spam, getting e-mails is now a chore and sometimes the readers do not even put their e-mails in their reviews so the author can get their e-mails even when signed in, the e-mails are not there for you to see.
So I basically try to hit all the fanfiction lists that is about that fandom that I am writing about to alert them of a new chapter up on the site or another site like my webpage.

I've never asked for a beta reader. I used to beta for a German friend, but frankly, her comprehension of English was absolutely superb! Better than most English speakers, that's for sure. But I don't think she really appreciated how good she was, so there was usually little for me to do with her stories. lol She didn't even speak English with an accent, which is remarkable. Anyway, I think someone DEMANDING that a character be changed to suit the would-be beta reader is ludicrous, and they clearly don't understand the point of being a beta reader. If the beta reader feels major changes need to be made then they can suggest it, but ultimately it's 100% up to author, since it is their story, after all. I know I've had reviews suggesting things that would have utterly changed - and ruined - the story if I'd followed their advice, which showed they clearly didn't get what I was saying. At least your friend had the sense to tell this person to hit the road.
Wow, I think those people who speak English as a second tongue can write better then those who write and speak it as their first. But there are people who do write and speak English really good too.
Thanks. I think she was right to tell the girl to go hit the road. She was pissed that this girl had the gall to demand that she becomes a beta reader for her and that she demanded that she change a character for her. So was I because I saw her beg for a reader but got no one.
I know I have some grammical errors in my stories but I try to fix them before I post them on the net and sometimes I make spelling errors that I do not even see till weeks or months later.
I think people who want to be betas really should have a guildline of some sort to direct them in how to ask someone to let them become a beta reader for them if they are talking to them by e-mails.
Actually, I think that is a good idea to have a guildline on how to become a beta reader. The Do's and the Don'ts in how to become a beta reader.
I think I will work on that, as soon as I finish my how to do a role play? article is done.

In my story The Dark Elf, I don't even have smex and that's barely written out as one character is watching two others go at it till about I think close to the end of the story by three to five chapters away from the end. But what I have is mainly language and a little violence before we even get to the smex.
But no one really demanded that I write a smex scene for it and most of my other stories has smex somewhere in it. Two of them has no smex scenes at all. No one complained about it.
But I don't think you should write smex scenes to placate the reviewers, you write for yourself and the reviews are just bonuses to your work.

As a childfree woman, I will never have any of those little ankle biters just cats and horses, if I see the parking spots for pregnant women, I fucking park in them!
If someone asks, I just tell them that I don't show because I'm already overweight and I carry high.
But really they do not deserve those spots. If you need to have it, then you fucking shouldn't even be driving anywhere! Period!

And I mean not one response. And when you say that the story will no longer be up for beta reading by anyone, they come out and ask? I hate that when that happens!
One of my friends got an e-mail from a beta reader who was not asked to e-mail her or anything, asked . . . no demanded that she becomes her beta reader and that she changes one of the characters to suit her demands. My friend rejected her offer as she told her that I write for myself and if the readers like what I have fine.
My friend had asked for beta readers for her story for many chapters only to find none and when she finally said screw it, it will be left as is, this girl e-mails her asking her how she'll correct her story as long as she changes one character to suit her.
Needless to say, my friend rejected her.
Has anyone asked for beta readers and after months of waiting for one, said in your next author note that you have dropped the request for beta readers for this and all of my stories that they finally come out and ask?

I'm glad because too many people have already stated to me that the character just seems to be too Sueish to them. I don't see any Sue like tendencies in her, beyond the fact that she would rather be left alone then associate with humans.

Keep in mind, though, that when someone is just starting out as a writer, so-called "Mary Sue" type characters are not just common but actually a very effective way to learn the trade. It's something I certainly did at the start, and I'm not the least bit embarrassed about it. It's fine to encourage someone to begin moving away from Mary Sue characters - it's something that all writers need to do at some point - but 'abusing' is not the same as 'encouraging'.
Another thing to keep in mind is that these character profiles can only really tell a part of the story. The only true way to really judge how a character is doing is from reading the story that the character is in. Only then are you truly going to get an idea of whether the character is working or not. But this could help some people to iron out some problems with a character.

I bet she probably wouldn't say that to her friends because they would get offended and not come around anymore. I would tell her here are my rules for my house, which superseeds any rules you may give me. I will write what I want and do what I want on my computer. If you do not want your kids to be influenced by a sensable person who sees everything in a shade of gray and will speak their minds, then, I guess you will be needing to pay for a babysitter for the day for I will not hold my tongue when I'm talking to my girl, because of your kids. And if you want them to be entertained, be sure to bring their books and let me know what type of tv shows they like to watch MTV or VH1 or Speed or Golf or Food Network or the stupid Seseme Street. This is my house and those are my rules. Take it or leave the house with the kids.
I bet she'll be fuming for a few minutes before storming out of the house telling you in a tone you probably would not like that she'll be back for the kids later or that she'll take the kids with her to work and get fired from it for having the kids there and blaming you for her getting fired.

If JK had stated during her promotions of her last and dare I say it, lousy book, that she will be doing a HP informational book on the series in a few months or so, that I need some time to reclaim some peace in my life, the folks at the lexicon would have probably held off on doing their version.
I think she is getting a bit too greedy, now that no one is waiting for her next HP book, people don't go to her website anymore (she probably noticed the views are now extremely down since the release of the final book and her comments about Dumbledore in front of children who probably loved Dumbledore only to find out that he was gay. He never seemed gay to me, personally, I saw him as a man who was moving pawns in a chess game and Harry was one of the pawns against Lord Voldemort.
I think she's not that great of a writer now, I loved the series up to the last book, the last book just seemed to me, written rushly and not really given any serious thought about how lousy it was. She made Hermione and Ginny into wimpy women after they married Ron and Harry respectively. And killing off Fred, that I didn't like nor Remus's death either.

Actually to be blunt... The categories are correct...
There is the Transformers Cartoon
There is also the Transformers Movie which just came out this past year and yes, it deserves a category on it's own because the people in the movie, did not appear in the cartoon.
As for the anime..Not too sure there. I only know of the Cartoon and the movie. Perhaps the Anime means the comic book? Was there even a Transformers comic?
There is a Transformers comic book out there. And the original format that the Transformers originally came from Japan. Thus Anime is correct. You would have to know the Japanese names of all the Autobots and the Decepticons. But that's what Wikipedia is for.

Monarchs do have to listen to their council or if it was for us, the congress, which is in a way, the monarch is being a puppet for the council who does all the deeds behind the scenes.
That's what England is now their house of representives are the real ruler behind the throne, Elizabeth doesn't even really make any of the laws anymore, it is the representives who do and she accepts them and makes them legit.
But it would make it hard for us to go police the world any more and I would say that is a good thing cause we're not the world's police force.

You would think that she was the frontrunner when she's not anymore.
She is late in her attack on Obama, she has been attacking the others but not the person who is now the front runner of the candidates right now. That should have happened earlier in the process, but she had people bending her way back then now Obama has won the people over with his constant talk about what he would do and what his plans are for the country, but Hilary is basically stating the same thing over again that the other side is basically saying with no serious change.
And another thing that has hurt her campaign - BILL CLINTON!
She really needed to tell Bill about three months ago, to go take a bloody nap and let me handle this, you ain't a candidate anymore, Bill. He has hurt her campaign more then she has.
She still think that she has the chance to win it, I say look at all the people who she once had their votes have now defected over to Obama since the other states started to hold their primaries and start to say I will fight this fight another year and back Obama and let him start his campaign against that other's side's nomination John McCain. She is not ready to become the first woman president, not at this time. She can wait for the next round. Seriously!
Hilary Clinton is not ready for the big time as in the presidency of the United States.
I seriously do not think that Hilary or McCain is right for this country. They both are is too political. We need a total fresh face in the White House and Obama is the one.

My parents know that I write fanfiction and that I am on an adult site for fanfiction. They think it is for adults to be able to post stories without the worry of kids coming onto the site, they don't know that it is for slash/het/smut stories.
They don't even know that I write smut to say the least!
And my mom could always type in adult-fanfiction.org into her computer and see what this site is about and find out that it is for R and NC18 stories to be located at. But I doubt that she'll mind personally as I am over the age of 18 and I do have desires that I put on paper instead of seeking them out in RL.
My dad doesn't even know how to type a URL into the browser window. He has a hard time dealing with his hotmail account!

A TRUE friend will accept you how you are. Period. Bad traits, good traits, it should not ever matter. If a person cannot accept you unconditionally as the kind of person you are, then keep 'em at acquaintance distance.
