Yeah, the model horse boards are funny that way.
As one of the members said, she'll learn her place on the board fast or the mods will ban her or restrict her postings for a bit.
I went back there a few minutes ago and found that her post that she did was gone and went to the Real Equine thread that was moved to find her name turned to black instead of blue as in active. The mod had posted stating that she was asked to read the pinned topics on the board before she post again but she refused to do so, as she had told her that she didn't care to read the rules as they didn't mean anything to her, so she is not allowed to post in any thread or make new ones for a week.
I think that is the proper punishment for her so now she will have time to read the pinned topics and learn the rules of the forum and realize where she would most likely post at and respect the rules that govern that forum.
But I seriously hate noobies who don't even read the pinned topics and then post and when confronted by the moderator or a member they fien ignorance to the rules hoping that they get a free pass on not reading the rules of the forum.

I was on one of my other forums that I am usually on and here is this noobie poster just posting away in a forum that was not meant for that topic but another forum and the thing is some of the posts are not even in their proper forum.
Real Equine topics shouldn't be in the Resin catagory! It belongs in the Real Equine catagory! Unless the noobie is trying to get advice for a resin from a real equine which she isn't, she's asking real equine questions.
People are gently reminding her where the proper place is for such topics and the girl just doesn't want to have her thread moved and when the moderator does indeed moves the thread, she recreates it right in the same location!
I informed the user that she needs to read the pinned topics before she posts as they show her what that forum is about and she came back like, I don't see you posting here so why are you picking on me. I told her as gently as I could as I wanted to chew her apart, I don't post in the resin catagory very often. I post in the other catagories including the Real Equine catagory where your posts belong at. Unless you are asking about how to create a resin to be a double of a real equine.
She started to bitch at me, actually used a cuss word which was replaced with I cussed here on the board but it was evident as to what she had said. Thankfully, the board had cuss filters on and they made sure that all the bad words would be made into 'I cussed here on the board' which obviously made the girl even more pissed that her posts were altered by the mods, she had no clue to that there was a board filter about cuss words.
I left the board last night angry and fustrated at the girl who refused to take the warnings from the other members to either go into more depth about what she was asking or take her topics to where they rightfully belong in the Real Equine forum. I don't even know if the mods moderated her or informed her with a harsher toned post informing her where to look for her topic and this topic is now hereby closed.

Yeah, they think their character or rp community is oh so special that the rules don't apply to them and when they are admonished by the moderator and the members they throw up oh but I'm special, this is a special promo or that this character is special, she or he warrants pushing aside the rules for them only.

But as far as needless commentary INSIDE the story itself, I agree that it ruins the tale and lowers my approval of it. It breaks the mood and the fluidity of the world they're writing about.
I so agree with you there. I actaully inform the author that her or his author's note in the middle this sentence really distracted me from the flow of the story and I didn't even want to read on any futher then that, thus is the reason for this review.
If they go back over the story and delete any in story author comments, I would reread the story and leave another review but for the most part, the author just deletes the review that I made and ignore the comment in the story itself.

I deleted a story on FF.net because of the flames it got, because it added a tenth member to the fellowship. The canon police were all over the story and flamed it because it was not canon and yet these same canon police would write slash stories dealing with Legolas and Aragorn and they call it canon! WTF, was wrong with that? Beyond the fact that the author never said anything about those two characters being gay at all or in love with them.
And I moved the story here where the flames have been almost nill.

It's because of this wonderful culture that we live in that says if you're not a walking skeleton with skin you're fat and ugly. She thinks she's ugly because she doesn't look the the models on tv and in magazines. It's sick really.... and no one is doing anything about it.
I really agree with that! I was once 127 pounds and I thought I was fat at age 18, now 37 I am 230 pounds and I'm ugly and fat.
I was teased at school when I was 15 about my weight which was barely under a hundred pounds. In a way, I was a walking skeleton, I barely had any muscles or fattiness to my body.
But in a way, I wished that people had complimented me on my weight back then, I would have strived to keep it instead of feeding my tummy.
If there was a time machine, I would never have gained the weight that I have now, I would do more excerises and be out there more then I do now.
But just let your girlfriend know that those people shouldn't matter to what you think, for me, I think you are perfect just the way you are. They don't have a photo of you to see how beautiful you look. Right now, you are the most beautiful woman I have in my life. You don't need other men telling you that you are too fat or too thin, for me you are perfect.

How about calling the breasts pillows?
Now that turned me off as I was reading a good smut and then the character reached up and gently squeezed her ample sized pillows. I was like uh, he squeezed her pillow? and it took me a while before I realized that they meant breasts!
But by the time I realized that, I had already left the story and went for another one. It just chased me off.

Lasanga, sushi, chocolate, and for pizza toppings it would be pineapple, bacon and hamburger. Whipped frosting in milk chocolate is another fave, brownies, cupcakes and yellow cake with chocolate iciing. Meatball sub, almost any japanese dish except hot dishes. Chicken curry and shrimp curry, shrimp, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, doughnuts.

I guess I should have asked first, but was it okay to post my story codes with the summary? I put them on mine using the logic that any one who usually sees the summary (ie when on the main site) sees the story codes as well, but there isn't anything on the official list to say we can include them in the promotion?
If it isn't okay I can go and edit the posts.
If I didn't think it helped the promotion, you would have received an e-mail from me, informing you of it.
But its okay, as long as you do the format; any warning or story codes you have in the story is okay by me.

He or she will probably help you out.
And I think you are stressing out about what new news will greet me this year around.
Why don't you greet them with your own news of you dropping out of college and shock them a bit,, when they explode with anger, just tell them I'm not dropping out but your problems has resulted in me stressing out and getting bad grades. I have had enough of your problems to the point it is causing me problems at school, now if you have personal problems, don't talk to me about them. You will only stress me out and make me get more bad grades.
If you tell them that their problems is causing you problems at school, they may not talk about their problems with you or when you are around.

Its how I want the stories to be promoted, it allows the readers a chance to know a bit about the story before they click the link and find that it was a story that they really didn't want to read after all like if someone liked Inuyasha and someone posted a Harry Potter story and the person assumed it was an Inuyasha story only to be disappointed that it wasn't what they had wanted to read.
With the format in place, the reader will see that it is a Harry Potter story and not an Inuyasha story and therefor won't read the story itself.

I do make my own food but with the limited amount of food, I'm forcing myself not to eat more then twice a day and right now, I'm hungry.
And I did offer to put the groceries on my credit card so we could have something beyond what we ate today, but they said no. Well, I did offer and they didn't want to drive into town and shop for food.
I guess they are waiting for their credit card to be paid off and get some space on it so we can use it again.

I would get a t-shirt that says If you think I am 16 yrs old, then this must be the year (whatever your birthyear is) and if people card you, while you are showing them your ID card, just say have a look at my tshirt and have a chuckle.
They'll probably be like is that shirt right?
And you get to smile and say check my ID, it should be right on the button as I am __ years old. I'm probably old enough to be your older sister.
They probably will laugh at that comment and ask where did you get that shirt.
Now that might be a good slogan for the store, If you think I'm 16, this would be the year 19_ _. and have the space be the year that you would be actaully sixteen years old. For me that would be 1986.
That would be a cool shirt to wear.

On Tuesday, she made a comment about going to town on Thursday for shopping. Well, here it is Thursday and I asked her when do you want to go to town to shop? She looked at me like what? and said, we aren't going to town to shop, Beth. What makes you think that?
I told her that she said that we would be going shopping on Thursday back on Tuesday morning.
She said, I didn't make plans on Tuesday to shop besides I have plenty of cat food in the house.
I said, what about butter?
Dad got it, she replied.
There are other people in the house, mom, besides the cats. We need food too. The fridge is almost bare. I said.
She walked away from me.
Mom has forgotten that even though she doesn't eat a lot of food a day, we do and there is just a few things left in the fridge, like ham, eggs, milk, butter, salad, carrots and V8 cans and stuff that Craig has in there, outside of the fridge is potatos, onions, cereal, pretzels and potato chips.
But if you look for food to handle feeding a family of four; three of whom who usually will go back for seconds, a simple one serving meal doesn't cut it, we will be hungry within an hour or so after that.
My food that I have in the fridge is nothing! I already finished off the pizza that we had on Tuesday after we voted.
But if you look in the pantry, you will see three things that is mine - two jars of tamales and a box of soup. That's it, in the house in the ways of food.
And the only time mom will leave the house for is food for the cats and if we are entertaining someone we would need food to eat or that we are invited to dinner somewhere like the grandunits house or to a restuarant.
If I had my license I would have done my horses and gone shopping on my own to get some of the food that I want in the house. But I don't and I have to wait till mom needs to go shopping for cat food to shop for human food.
Mom only eats once a day! compared to dad, me and Craig, we three eat about three to four times a day. I even starve myself as I normally eat about five times a day, mainly because the pill I take in the morning makes my stomach pump the food out and empties faster then it used to.
Mom is not thinking about the other humans in the house but herself when it comes to needing to shop for human food as it usually ends up being done when the cat food level in the house is low and that is the only reason if we ain't entertaining anyone.
But I think she is trying to conserve the money that we have in the bank or on the credit card for something more important - like the ads to sell more land here at the Lake of the Ozarks, which at the moment is like not happening, we might not even sell any land till April when cabin fever starts hitting people in the Chicago area. But with how people are hording their money or spending it on bills, buying land is a luxery item, they won't buy till things get better even if we do sell it at a good price.

I am in a rp community that talks about other roleplayers in a bad light as the rp are usually bad ones.
This girl comes in and posts a promo for a HP community, after the members bitched at her and found that she was spamming other HP communities with her promo, she disables the comments immediately instead of deleting the post.
One of the comments made to the girl before she disabled the comments was this : Why don't you fuckingread the fucking rules for once before you join! This community is not to promote your stupid community! Go promote it somewhere else! Somewhere where it is more proper for the fandom! We ain't a promote your roleplay community, we are one who rants about other bad roleplayers community!
The girl made a snotty remark stating: I was going to delete it but now I won't!
That really got the members of the community pissed off. They went after her hard time even after them telling her to delete the post and read the rules again. Before she disabled the comments in her post.
Well, the mod banned her and deleted her post and created another rule for everyone to look over. No disabling comments, bannation immediately will happen if you do. Don't believe me, try me. And then she stated the girl's name she just banned who disabled comments in her post, you don't want to be her do you? Then, keep the comments open or end up like her banned from this community.
But if you don't read the rules of the forum or community or e-mail group you are a member of and you post something that is not proper and say if this is not acceptable, please delete, doesn't erase your responsiblity to know what the fucking rules are. You had to have looked at the rules when you join or read the e-mail in your inbox, so don't give anyone shit if they see you violating the forurm/community/e-mail group rules, they are trying to make sure you ain't removed for being a shitwad, idiot.
That felt good to get that out of the system.
Has anyone dealt with people who don't read the rules and thinks that they are so special that the rules don't count for them?

No one is going to like this response, but her asking you for your ID and refusing to sell the alcohol to your stepmom was pretty legit...I've been in her position (not at WalMart *shudders*) and I can understand her reasoning. Technically, I think, they're supposed to ask everyone with the person purchasing whatever for their IDs. I've noticed that some gas stations, even, have signs up that say if you're under 60 they'll card you.
Now...the reason for her heckling you, that was bogus. I would agree with her if you looked like you're under 21, but if she was just profiling you, then, yeah, I would have asked for a manager.

But I get carded for everything...Actually, they don't card everyone, just those people who look under the age of 21. At Wal Mart here, I have yet to show the cashier my ID and my mom is buying beer and I am handling it. And this was before I cut my long hair short, I looked 16ish. Now that I no longer have long hair, I look older.
The bitch had a thing against goths that's all and you should have demanded a manager to come and cause her more problems for profiling you after the manager saw your ID stated your birthdate and you were way older. He or she would have apologized and after you left, bitched at the girl for profiling you.

And yes, we do get model horse trolls, but rarely.
Don't even start me on Neighsayers model horse board back in the late 1990's and early 2000. Now there were at least three trolls one known as Mona(who happened to be the moderator of the board, she purposely trolled the board when she would announce that she's going off to dinner. No mod in their right mind would announce that to the board! That is just fucking asking for the trolls to come out!), needlessly to say, I watched as that board was taken down.
