I just wanted to take a moment to say something... Thank you Gslinger. I know I appreciate your kind words and I bet the others mods and admins do too. I agree fully with what you're saying. We all want this website to be fun and a way for adults to express their creativity, but dealing with the same old childish issues take away from that fun. We want everyone to be able to post new stories, reply to them and simply enjoy the website. The rules aren't that excessive as some other sites are when it comes to content. I just want people to respectful and have fun here.

There is a chance that the author deleted it. I see that happening a lot lately as authors start to revamp what they've previously written. The ones I've found were on fanfiction.net just by putting in yugito and naurto as the characters. You might want to check mediaminer.org too...though I don't really like that site cus its SO hard to find anything there.

I understand tingle, but we all tend to get a bit defensive when one of our most devoted admins is basically called a liar. We all spend a lot of time working hard for this site and when someone throws that back in the faces of admins and mods, yes it tends to get us a tad bit cranky. Now I'm usually one of the cooler heads, but this is ridiculous. This has been an ongoing issue for the readers/writers in the ygo subdomain since april/may...so long ago that I don't remember the exact date. We squashed it but its not us that continues this stupid issue that we can do nothing but what we've already done and continue to do. Tingle, please don't get me wrong. I just wanted to give the pov of at least myself. Bringing something that we can not do anything about, ie the plagiarism on another site, is not fair, nor is it right. We take aff.net seriously but we can not spend all of our time here, monitoring things as the ygo fans that are involved in this wish when we have our own lives that need to take priority over the site. They need to understand that. They don't have accuse, bitch and moan; they can help! Even if its sending a simple email (and being calm and composed, not screaming and demanding like what we've been getting) stating the problem if it is indeed on our site, then we will take that complaint seriously and handle the problem as soon as we are able.

Jesus christ, are we seriously doing this again? I have never seen as many issues with a single subdomain ever. Nothing will ever be good enough and I guess no one is allowed to have lives outside of volunteering to help with the site. Maybe if more pople offered to volunteer, then the ygo subdomain can be policed to the liking of those complaining. Funny thing that...I don't see ANY YGO writer/reader offering to help. *shrugs* It's very easy to sit around and accuse. Why not be helpful and be polite calmly report the situation? Why not come without the confrontational attitude? Why try and make it seem that our admin that spends more time working on aff than sleeping is doing nothing at all. Sometimes some features are just NOT available for mods to use as a tool. Our techies are working on ways to impliment changes that will make the site better without loosing the stability that it has had for years. DO NOT make it seem as though they are doing nothing. I just don't understand how people expect the mods and admins of THIS site, to police the sites of others. We can not lord over all other sites. We can not force Yugithecutie or head over to her site, acces her admin controls just to do what people want done. I'm usually the nice one who will use kind words when confronting people. No longer in this situation. It doesn't make senes for grown ass adults not to be able to act in a civilized manner on an adult site. It makes me wonder if anyone in the Yu-gi-oh section really is adult! I understand that plagiarism is a subject that incites anger in a lot of people. Hell, I despise plagiarist and have had stuff plagiarised myself, but I don't act in the manner that I've seen people act in the damn ygo section! Yugithecutie, in case you see this, you are not allowed back on the site. Your site has caused SO many problems because of your practices for a site that isnt even AFFILIATED with you that its purely insane. Everytime your name comes up, we have to drop everything we're working on to fix the complaints that we can. Seriously, if she continues, go to her fricken hosting company! We don't host her, we can't control her.

Do you know approx when the last time you read this story was? Was it pretty long or short? Was it a newer fic or older? I'm looking at a list of about 4 pages of Naruto x Yugito fics...but since I don't read this pairing, I'm not sure where I should start. Hope I can help ya though

Okay, So I keep losing this story and I could have sworn that I added it to my personal archive of stories, but I'm not finding it...or I have to many stories. The one I'm looking for, I'm pretty sure that its SasuNaruto. Naruto goes off to train with Jiraiya and it turns out that Naruto's eyesight is so bad, he's nearly blind. Jiraiya takes him to a clinic to have his eyes treated. In the mean time, Jiraiya sends a letter to Tsunade asking her what kind of doctor is she to not be able to see that Naruto was nearly blind. This accusation makes her angry and she has Kakashi dragged into her office to tell him this. Kakashi realizes that naruto stood in the middle of the clearing during the bell test because of his vision impairment... Please help me if you can. I'm about 85% sure that this is narusasu....but like I said, theres a small chance it might be kakanaru....

Now I'm not a Techie at all but I do have a couple questions...and a suggestion. About the page load times... Are you sure that you're not having a spyware issue or some other problem with your computer that is making the site slower? I have three computers in my home, each one runs a different operating system, windows 98SE, windows XP and the demon, windows Vista. I primarily used the 98SE system and Aff is pretty damn fast considering the operating system is 11 yrs old. What type of browser are you using? And Dialup or DSL/T1, etc? Also, the problem that you're having with the background color...ya see, I have the opposite problem. I can see light font on a dark background (like black or dark blue) easier than dark font on a white or light background. I've found a way to overcome that and I use it for a lot of different sites. If you use Mozilla firefox, you can actually change the background color and font colors to make things easier to see by turning off the page style or having different colors take over the colors on a page.. If you go to tools, then options, then choose the content tab in firefox, go to the section that says fonts and colors. Select Colors, then change the text color to black and the background color to white. If you do that and leave the check in the box that says Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above, the page setup will be different, like all the links for the site will be listed instead of being able to scroll over them for the dropdown. If you uncheck the box, you'll still have the dropdown menus with your colors that you've chosen.... Seems like a lot, but after you take a few moments to set that up, it takes just a few seconds to toggle back and forth depending on what you want to do with the background colors. -shrugs- Just an option for you to try if the tan background is really hard for you.

I have multiple gmail addresses that receive mail from aff and I never have problems. One thing you can try is creating a filter. If you go to settings in gmail, then select Filters. At the bottom, create new and then in the from field, put adult-fanfiction.org and then on the next screen, check the box that says 'never send it to spam' that way you can see if you get it. maybe try sending yourself a review afterwards to see if you get it. I don't know if it'll work, but it doesn't hurt to try.
