Epilogues, don’t forget epilogues.

JayDee got a reaction from GeorgeGlass in I feel like there is a whole untapped subgenre of what happens when a zombie apocalyp
@GeorgeGlass Max Brooks*’ short story The Extinction Parade and the comic miniseries adaption pretty much matches that.
*The World War Z guy.

“As humans wage their losing fight versus the hoards of the subdead, a frightening realization sets in with the secretive vampire race: our food is dying off. This is the story of the vampire's descent into all-out war with the mindless, hungry hordes of the zombie outbreak as humanity tries to survive them all! “

Suddenly, the thought came to my head… “The Zombie Dating GAME SHOW!” I must be very disturbed.

Only one that I remember it was an indie comic called… The name escaped me but half a day of randomly searching.
Found it.

One. My idea has merit.

Has there ever been a movie (or book or videogame or whatnot) in which vampires team up with humans against the zombies because the zombies are destroying the vampires’ food supply?

Wow, that’s the kind of zombie know-how they don’t show in the movies!

The downside of the zombie apocalypse is the mandatory exercise program with all that walking!

Zombie’s are so misunderstood. However, it does give a whole new implication to the the game of “tag”.

I have a vague recollection of reading something about zombies having high cholesterol (I think it was) if they maintained a brains-only diet
Edit: Hot fucking damn, I actually found my source

Thank ‘ee! I was going to get around to it at some point, just been a ways busy, thank ‘ee twice, in fact!
I have to admit, the one bit where they take the line “ Saxon had grown a little bored of being in the kitchen, although like most dogs he was capable of lying alone for hours, dreaming of chasing rabbits today was just not that day.” and added the bold text, well, maybe readers really really needed to know that the dog wasn’t dreaming of rabbits right on that day. I like to imagine this creative soul, hard at work, maybe chewing a strand of hair and them BAM! inspiration strikes and those six words flowed onto the page.

Be interesting to see what they do, but I suspect they probably won’t be too bothered, I mean check this out –
Original garbage, really bad even in context, complete tell with zero show ffs just awful: “Although she’d never so much as blown a human before, Hermione excelled in oral pleasure.”
New and improved, showing the world the majesty of Bed Boyfriend: “Jennifer excelled in oral pleasure as she'd blown bed boyfriend multiple times.”
I want Bed Boyfriend in my life!

The best we can hope for is that the other site will pull the plagiarist’s story, if not their entire account. Common sense (oh, that rarest of superpowers!) tells me nothing at all will be done, but I at least have the satisfaction of knowing that I said something anyway.
And with any luck, JayDee’s reviewer will learn to check publication dates and/or how to count before they accuse JayDee of lifting a story again. Definitely not the sharpest pencil in the box, that one...

If I had a time machine, I’d be buying bitcoin in terms of how many per penny. Hope they nail the thief.

It is indeed, and I filed a report with that site’s administrators. Let’s see what happens.

There’s minor changes but it’s pretty much the same thing.
