And the winner for the TSTL contest for the day: my employer at the track, "Leave the radio with the headset for someone who needs it." Uhm, okay. Will that person be taking down all of the race finishes, under pressure, with seven people screaming at them, 20 cars without mufflers warming up and roughly 125 generators running in the background? Or answering protests? Or directing the safety crews? Yes? Then WTF do you need me for?

The "frying pan of common sense" tm required to cure this. If you need to borrow it, that can be easily arranged somehow.

I have a sledgehammer. I know how to use it. I didn't need it after I pointed out that everyone who had "issues" with line ups, protests, etc. would be directed to the author of the email.
