It's called Trust Is A Relative Thing but I don't have the link for it and it's not on AFF
-
That is very much not worth it. And I doubt they're going to get the big fandoms that pull the most people either. Like Harry Potter. The anime they may as those--they tend to be treated differently and, from what i know, some of the companies in Japan are willing to license that. I'm not seeing this as a good thing for the authors, just Amazon trying to cash in on the craze that started with Fifty Shades of Grey when it became well known it started life as a fanfic.

Yeah, i noticed that. I think, from the way it reads, OCs you might develop are that way too. Unless you're publishing in a fandom that is done, like some of the manga, anime or Harry Potter, you have a lot to lose there and it's probably not worth the risk. You're better off taking what you write and making it into something original.

Yeah, it's legit. It's a limited number of fandoms right now, but it's real.
Opinions? -
This is the issue and ze boss is working on fixing it as fast as she can. You'll get them back, it's just going to take some patience

LOL you're welcome. Not much to finding it, since I've read it and remembered it

It sounds like A Question Of Honor

I'm gonna add mine here. Like Rogue, I did C-Section because I couldn't go into labor. As in no labor pains at all, whatsoever, for 24 hours after the water broke and they tried everything they could to induce it with nothing working. However, unlike what most here are describing, I was friggin' miserable for the whole term, all nine plus months of it (yeah, mini-me was two weeks late). I had morning sickness (read that all day long, every day) the whole time and i couldn't be around cooking hamburger unless I wanted to spend time in the bathroom. For the last two months, i couldn't wear shoes because my feet were so swollen. And I was huge though I gained no more than BW talked about. That had to do with the way I carried her. However, in contrast, my sisters can pop the lil buggers out quickly with no issue. My next youngest, she said the longest she was in labor with all hers was five hours. The first? She was in hard labor for about an hour, it. My other sister was the same way. They had no problems and no major complications when it came to their pregnancies. I was the exception. And, passed that exception onto the daughter because she had the same issues I did when she gave birth by C-Section as well And, yeah, she was it for me! We ain't doing that bit again, no way, no how, forget it!

I think the one you're referring to is Finding my Daddy, Finding my Baby

As we told you in the shoutbox last night, including the link Rogue just posted, the example is; I don't own (insert fandom or fandoms name here) and make no money off this story.
-
Mau, I would suggest that you go back a couple pages here and reread what was said about authors killing chances at getting reviews. In your case, it's probably a contributing factor.

Actually, if you hold the ctrl button down then scroll up with the mouse wheel, it enlarges everything on the page, including the recaptcha. This from someone that doesn't see the greatest either and needs to enlarge things! If you use Firefox, there is an extension for it called No Squint. It, also, will take the size of everything up or down on the page with a + or - bar up on the top toolbar of it. Works very well and is safe.

This is Sable's Yahoo group. Go there and it's either in the files section or ask

Alright, in this case the story is misplaced, however, unlike one that is newly uploaded, it's one we won't get to for a while or make the author move as it's from '06. This falls in the category for cleanup. They'll sort it when they get to Originals and it'll be moved then. Thanks for reporting, though!
-
In this case, the being that is the author of the fic your asking about has given us proof of permission from the original author that they are allowed to continue the story. So, no, this isn't a case of plagiarism in any way. It's when you do something like this without the permission that we run into issues.

what's the name on the account?

glad you enjoyed!
-
Yup, same one
-
As they are from '05 and haven't been updated since, they will be something that's handled on cleanup when they get there. Thanks for reporting, though!

perfect and, yup, that's where it's from. I didn't even have to drag my book out to check it when i saw it You're good to go and will note as corrected

mostly, you do need to add which book it's from to it. As she has several... you know LOL
Can I report myself?

If you are doing it for a legitimate reason, like editing for typos, you're fine. I've had to edit for typos and other things. This is a legit need to do that thing. It's when you do it with the full intent to bump the story to keep it on the front page or move it up, you get in trouble.
