Okay, as we all know, the site has been testing clean all along, on various sites which check this, such as Norton and McAfee. Not to mention the service we're now subscribed to. So, I kept seeing where the malware warning was showing adultfanfictionnet.net as the actual culprit. Thing is, it's a pointer domain with NO FILES ON IT. Not anywhere. So, that being the case, with it being a domain with no files, it shouldn't kick ANY kind of error. Searched the entire site, to see if there were still some paths floating around from last September when we bought the domain when this one expired. I found them, and changed them back to the domain path. By the way, there never was any sort of linking in any file to "edithfilms.ch" whatever the hell THAT is. Anyway, now that the paths no longer exist, Chrome users need to CLOSE Chrome, and then restart it. You should no longer see the warning. Please let me know if you do.

Writing contest on hentai-foundry forums

Hi there, I removed the content of your post, as you're offering money for fanfiction. That's absolutely something you should NEVER do. -
As Google considers each subdomain a separate site, what I did was add the one subdomain that's still kicking the warning, as a site for scanning. Hopefully that will clear this once and for all.
-
Keep your fingers crossed that this latest tweak I did in webmaster tools will finally fix it for all of it. We'll see.

Yes, that means the forum is safe too

It is absolutely safe. There is nothing IN the archive files which will harm your system. That's the weekly report we just received from the malware prevention service the site is subscribed to. This service works for websites how malware scanners work for a personal computer. I just tried to duplicate what happened to you, and cannot. No matter how deep in to the categories I go, I click back, I end up at the page I was at prior, in the archive.

With the java dependencies within the archive for things like menuing, IE often has issues with Java itself from time to time. I think that has more to do with wanting ActiveX to control browser behaviors...

In the browser menu - Tools>Internet Options click the Advanced tab make sure Enable Third Party Extensions is checked This does require a browser restart

Nope, they sure can't.

You see the domain given? It's the parked domain. Which has no files on it. At ALL. Just for shits and giggles, I checked my webmaster tools cp again. No malware. This means I CANNOT get google to do anything about this.

The only warning I'm kicking now is for adultfanfictionnet.net which is not in my webmaster tools, and is a parked domain we own. It has no files in it.

Generally speaking, an author knows which tags apply to his or her story, and we expect them to tag appropriately. However, we also understand that writing is a fluid process, and that you may end up going in a direction in your story you didn't expect, and then need to add additional tags/warnings. Sentences/paragraphs such as this, added to give additional warnings and whatever, are not counted as author notes.

Virus threat (NOT) Norton Safe Web McAfee SiteAdvisor The site is subscribed to stopthehacker.com, which is a service which does for websites, what programs such as MalwareBytes does for the end user. It monitors the site 24/7, scans it daily, and is set to make any necessary changes if anything is detected. This has tested the site as clean, and now shows us off Google's blacklist. You may still see the occasional warning page, while all search indexes are updated by Google. Currently, only Chrome is having any issues at all, and only for parts of the site intermittently. Because of the issues this caused from the 28th of February through the 3rd of March, we will not be hiding anything that was scheduled for it, nor will I be processing any scheduled deletions (after 30 or more days hidden). After all, with the warning and block pages, any issues any user may have had to correct, I certainly would NOT have expected any one of you to bypass those warnings to do so. Because I was a space case and forgot to click the publish button, the news post for February wasn't actually displaying until yesterday. Please take the time to read it! A BIG thank you to everyone who has been so supportive while this threat was sorted out. I and the rest of the staff surely do appreciate it! DemonGoddess061

Chrome is only kicking at the root directory and the member login now. Within all the other subdomains, it's not. Not only that, Google removed us from the blacklist. So, I guess I have to email them AGAIN and ask them to remove those warning redirects as they're not valid and do not apply to the site.

No prob!

Armada/Energon are actually anime and in the anime subdomain as the Unicron Trilogy. There are some which are not cartoons, so are not n the cartoon subdomain anime Unicron Trilogy Headmasters Robots In Disguise comic based in comic subdomain as the publisher is IDW Transformers marvel-verse comic Transformers movies (live action) Transformers I've not made a crossover category as a second level yet, as I'm still waiting for the ability to have unlimited subcategory levels.

Chrome is the only browser now kicking a warning, and not for most of the site. That is because of Google's blacklist, which the site is still on. Once they finish removing the site from the blacklist, the warning will disappear.
-
we've never dealt with Pixiv, so wouldn't know. Google actually treats the subdomains as separate sites, even though they're all the same site, served by the same database.

Only thing I can think of that may have tripped your AV is either a false positive, or something piggybacked in on one of the banners, or there was a spoof of the address elsewhere with the viruses embedded. Without seeing the exact path of where/how it attempted to download for you, I couldn't say either way. Although, I will say some of the warnings listed adultfanfictionnet.net, which is a parked domain. No files associated WITH the domain (I would know this because we own the domain and have nothing at all on it). Which leads me to believe a spoof of the web address occurred.

You're welcome! As to tech support, you're looking at it. Me, myself, and I At this point, it's a matter of time now. Google's Webmaster Tools are showing NO issues in my control panel for the site. NONE. So, I expect we'll be removed from the blacklist today some time.
