  1. unfortunately that's not how the script was written. *sighs* I'll have to look more into the time limits thing tho
  2. Okay, first of all, there've been a few times I've run across where someone has found a story that is in the wrong category and needs moved. At this point in time, it's not the easiest thing to do, but can be done. So, what I've done is make this forum so that we have a RECORD of stories that need to be moved to the appropriate category/subcategory, once that particular tool is in place. Please bear with us, it may take awhile to get that going, but it will get done. User accesses Guest posting is allowed in this forum.
  3. I believe the root category is supposed to be view only, as in see the subcats only; not for posting. As to the structure, we're working on changing that around a fair bit, but that is some time away yet.
  4. Not maniacs, just have more free time I think
  5. Click the tab called "member tools", then select "Author Panel". As long as you're logged in, you'll go straight to your profile and user panel
  6. Currently this seems to be 4, even though I set it to 10. So, I've posted a question in the mod maker's forum to see why it's doing that, and what I need to do to fix it so it allows the number of attacks I actually specified.
  7. This is set so that you can attack anyone who is above you in level, no matter how much higher the level they are. Of course, I wouldn't recommend a level 1 player attack a level 10, for example, as that's very likely suicide . Here's the catch tho. In fairness, so that the newer players don't get constantly thunked on by higher level players, you can only attack at MOST 2 levels below yourself. So, for example, if you are a level 5 player, you can attack a player level 3 or above. But not a level 2 or level 1. I could even make it so that is reduced to ONE level below you, if you like.
  8. nah, not at all. I'd have to make some graphics, and determine what stats are necessary to use these "weapons", because they would still be weapons. The battle mod is set to attack, so this would just be a different attack, which would still reduce hit points. So, since this is your idea, you have thoughts on the strength required to use each different one? Keep in mind, though, I'm in the middle of a few different projects so I very likely won't get to this right away. Next thing is skins, so after that, I can play around with adding new weapons and other things.
  9. Depends on what you want it to look like Oh, doublechecked all the directory settings this morning for the upload. Found out where I did NOT adjust the permissions, so now that's done. You should now be able to upload the images.
  10. This is the right place, actually. It requires tech access at this point in time to move it. Isn't there a Crossover subcat for Final Fantasy? If so, that's actually where this would go.
  11. Back in Black - AC/DC
  12. I'll get to the bottom of it, and figure out why exactly it's not working. Unfortunately I gotta nap before work, so it's likely I won't get to it until tomorrow
  13. To raise stats requires attacks. But to make it so that your stats are at their highest requires a potion. did you notice that if a user attacks you and loses that they LOSE experience points?d As to the potion, I've taken to using the general restorative (I forget the name) which restores both HP and STR stats at the same time. Those seem to work better. There are some addon items I'm looking into as well, but I probably won't get to them until tomorrow sometime.
  14. Yep, was me testing it. I will do again what they said should be done before, and then you should try again. Let me know if you still have problems.
  15. hehe no, those three pips mean that you've had a certain amount of posts.
  16. Those are pips. They are visual to show your posting activity.
  17. apparently there was a bug. You should be able to upload images now. The size is restricted to no more than 200x200 pixels, and no more than 50k in size pls.
  18. Before starting anything, you may not even want to participate in this particular game mod. Should you choose to opt out, MAKE SURE to visit the store, open a bank account and transfer all your points to your bank account. Otherwise, they'll go away. I DO have this set to not reset now, but I'd rather have your points safe, so please bank them before opting out. To opt out, you go to your user panel (My Controls) select the battle mod options, and tell it to opt you out.
  19. Opened a forum for the mod, any questions and such will be answered in it.
  20. Yes, they have to accept the approval before they're actually joined into your guild, even if they asked to join in the first place
  21. what is resets is your OPEN points not your banked points. As far as I'm aware of nothing has happened which has affected users banked points. Unless they withdrew them from the bank, and then chose the opt out. I've pretty much restricted myself in who I attack as well, and I always make sure I send a pm so the user knows it was me. I COULD not send the thing, but.....
  22. I can delete you from the forum, and will. You actually did not have to register to ask, all you had to do was post your question, as guest posting is allowed in the support, FAQ request and suggestion forums.
  23. Depends on where you're talking about. The blocks underneath the member group icon are posting pips. The stars in your profile are where other users can "rate" you if they want.
  24. Revives are always used on others, not yourself.
  25. Works for me
