    Totally get that. I’m sorta thinking I might repurpose an old story that isn’t really out there anywhere anymore. Although it’s probably one of two of the darker stories that I’ve written. Which is why it probably fits for Halloween.

    If you’re asking how to confirm your age, the quickest way is to go directly to the main page rather than the specific page you want to read stories from. The age verification doesn’t work on anything but the main page.

    I just experienced this and it’s something I fixed by going to the primary domain rather than to the individual options. I tried to go to the Television specific one and kept getting the age verification requirement. However, then I went here to the forum and clicked on the archive option. The verification then works the way it’s supposed to.

    Toys, in general, would include things like dildos, vibrators, beads, cock rings, onaholes, bondage rope, paddles, crops, whips, gags, blindfolds, cuffs, and so on. But if something can be used that isn’t on that list, feel free to deem it a toy. Better safe than sorry!

    Well let’s just say that it’s used in a way that is a substitute for a pocket rocket and/or dildo. You’re probably right. As I said, actual toys are introduced later in the story. So it’s probably best to add it even if the lipstick itself isn’t one.

    So, here’s something it never occurred to me to ask.

    What is the definition of a Toy from the perspective of a tag in a story?

    It occurred to me suddenly that I might need to add that tag to the story but it’s not technically relevant. The reason why I’m curious is because one of the things that’s kinda central to the story is the use of lipstick between two or more female characters. Applying it in both conventional and unconventional ways.

    Is that considered a toy for the purposes of the story? I should probably add one anyway because I believe dildos are eventually introduced in the story. But it never occurred to me whether the use of lipstick would be considered a toy.

    I suppose that could technically work. Although I may be overthinking it. Given that it’s focused on specific fandoms, I could just place them there. However I’ve heard that sometimes porn companies can be protective of fanfic like some creators in Hollywood/books, etc. So I figured if there was a real category for fanfic, I run less risk. I’ll probably be changing enough details to avoid anything too serious.

    Some of them would be. I would say most of my fandoms are in the Television archive. At least if I understand what you mean by that.

    I can separate them into their individual fandoms like I did with/am doing with my gangbang series. Right now I have the Buffy one and the Riverdale one in the Television category, but there will probably be more like Pretty Little Liars and others also in the Television category.

    I was just wondering if there was a specific one for parody that might go there.

    I totally get what you’re claiming but I guess I’m being slightly unclear in what I mean.

    While I can understand what you mean as being like what Oric did with his Gehana story. Different fandoms all brought together in a particular location to get it on. My idea is slightly different. This is sort’ve a variation on what I call my gangbang series. In that example, each series is in its own fandom and characters stay within their own universe. Which is sorta what I mean here but in a different way.

    Porn companies have their own series that they do. I’m thinking of one in particular although I probably won’t use it, but it’s called “Modern Day Sins”, or “Property Sex”. They all follow a particular format, like the property sex one involves pretending to want to buy a house and getting it on with the female real estate agent.

    I was thinking of doing something similar, but as a parody. Like a porn company decides to go to a fictional town and the characters from that fandom get caught up in participating. So in that example, the repeating theme would be the parody porn company going to a bunch of different towns.

    Am I placing each in their individual fandoms or is there a category that would qualify for that?

    I’m wondering if there’s a place for a general parody category or within a particular category.

    What I mean is, I’ve been thinking about an idea where I use a kind of porn premise for a fandom.

    Maybe the closest I can think of is a fanfic elsewhere that had an OC using a TV to mind control characters in a specific fandom. They weren’t limited to a particular fandom. They just used the same premise across multiple fandoms.

    Or would a story like that just be within the particular fandoms?

    Definitely agree that the Riverdale universe is ripe for all kinds of erotica. I have one other piece that I have been writing for after this in the Riverdale universe.

    As for who’s going to be “Cheryl’d” next, you can ask but I’m not going to say just to keep the mystery alive. The more reviews I get on my Riverdale stories the more I might just focus on those. Maybe there will be a sequel or two depending on how people react.

    Okay, just to be clear on what I mean about placeholders, if it could be a hidden “draft” in my story manager in the correct category. If that’s not possible, that’s fine. It’s fine since I usually only publish when my piece is a few chapters deep or complete.

    So I just published my first completely new story with the upgraded archive and I noticed a difference.

    On the old archive, you had to publish the first chapter when you published the story. Now it seems like on the upgraded archive you don’t need to do that.

    My question is, can I create a placeholder for future stories that I’m not ready to publish in my story editor without it showing up on the archive? I immediately published the first chapter without thinking that I should check if the story is live.

    How does that work?

    When looking at stories as a reader, I tend to look for longer, but not “too long” chapters.  As a rule of thumb, a 2k chapter is a “Reader’s Digest story of a story,” and more than 20k has me wondering if the writer has any clue about what they’re writing.  In “published life,” Theodore Dreiser’s An American Tragedy has a chapter that’s barely two pages, plus multiple chapters that are practically novellas or at least novella length in their own right.

    I am definitely looking at and probably will split up the chapters into smaller pieces. Right now I’m looking at around 10 pages for each chapter just based on what makes sense for the story.
