It is nice to be able to see again after going almost 3 weeks of having to rely on a 6 year old persecution that gave me a max of 18 inch radius of viability. Now to get back to tackling the css and other code bits for the mobile friendly skin.

well, I’m sure I told everyone already but here goes. Magus is doing really well and his cancer has actually diminished some. The doctors are saying he has a very good chance to live a normal life span. And where they were talking years before, they’re now talking decades. And yes, we are all just giddy here LOL

Damn, that feeling when I realize that my planned holiday fic isn't going to be a one shot.  I'll have to figure it out, later.

The Gympie Gympie, a rather cute sounding name for a plant.  This tree grows in rainforest areas of Australia and has stinging leaves so horrendously agonising that it can even kill a human.  If you are lucky (or is that unlucky?) enough to survive, then the agony can last weeks or months and can reoccur over and over again for years.  In fact, just breathing near this plant is ill-advised.  That’s a hell of a plant!

We’re finally, FINALLY getting some new hires in which show promise.  Maybe, just MAYBE, we (mgr and I) can start normalizing our work weeks.

So, just signed a contract for Loving Sarajevo! I’m pretty excited and really looking forward to the end of 2016 because 2017 is going to be awesome. The tentative release date for Falling for Him is April 2, mark your calendars!

Last month, a part of my filling fell out. I say fell, I was actually reliving my childhood with a surplus halloween Drumstick lollipop. Today, my appointment at the dentist came up. Thankfully, they didn’t need to do anything painful. They just removed my temporary filling, cleaned it and redid it. I feel like I just got a get out jail free card while on death row. Also, my dental hygeine is great and they don’t need to see me ever again (or for twelve months, which is much the same thing). 
Excuse me while I slump into a relaxed pile of vaguely human shaped happiness. Then I will update stuff.  
I will also think twice from now on before reliving my childhood with chewy sweet things.

After many months of my own battles, i return to this realm…

If I keep watching these anime things, I’m going to learn selected bits of Japanese by exposure, but everything I learn will just make me sound like some Japanese version of Papa Lazarou. i.e. “You’re mine now.” “You belong to me.” “It’s quite swollen.” “Don’t worry… I’ll enjoy myself.” “That’s a nice moan you have.” All I need do is learn how to say: “You’re my wife now, Dave!” and “Where’s the toilet?” and the transformation will be complete.

That moment when you go searching for explicit yaoi manga to read because you’ve developed a sudden addiction, and end up on a threatening webpage, then have to allow AVG to remotely access your machine that’s full of dark slash stories, and are hoping they won’t notice. Frightening. I have learned my lesson. Mostly. At least my internet history was all google searches about “what to do when AVG stops working”

And my halloween fic has been finished!  Now,  the usual week for it to age properly, and I’ll be posting it next weekend. 
 

So I guess my lucky streak continues… I just got offered a contract to publish Falling for Him!!! Off to celebrate with a bottle of wine!

For once, I’m kind of glad that I live in a US state where the presidential candidates don’t bother to campaign.

Finished the mega edit on FFH! Thanks to everyone who responded to my call for betas but I have enough readers for it now. Now let’s all cross our fingers that it’s good enough for someone to publish it. Back to writing the weird and wacky now...
