    I actually like how Jack is developing. In the beginning he seemed so perfect and now he actually seems human.

    Well said. Going a little rogue or occasionally being an ass is all part of the teenage cycle. Nobody can be good ALL the time. If you don't test the waters of the dark side a little, you don't grow as a person.

    Max does screw around, hell he's got three pregnant women with him. The petra thing is just a damaged girl finding herself again, getting her self confidence back, she's bound to step over the line now and again, remember Amy did as well. And don't forget Max, he promised to talk to them about how he's feeling and he's not, so Emma can be forgiven for not knowing what he's thinking all the time. This is just the crap that couples go through, say something insensitive, get snapped at, feel bad, then appologize...having everything all roses and sunshine would be nice, but its not beleivable.

    Awesome chapter! It will be interesting to see how Stacy plays into this and how Kara's parents are dealt with, especially now that Carol and Early both agree with the extreme prejudice option. And the slimy Senator getting a Presidential pardon? WTF?

    It's probably too easy and convenient but I get the feeling that Stacy has been in love with Kara for a while but Kara never knew but would gladly reciprocate once she finds out. That would bring that saga to the end, once Kara's parents were eliminated of course. Can't wait to see how THAT comes about.

    After reading Sister Sister, I figured you were somewhere in the UK. :)

    Me mother's side is Scottish-Irish with a wee bit o' German thrown in. My Dad's side is mostly English which makes me my own worst enemy. ;)

    WOW! Angry Max and vulnerable Max back to back! Beautifully written. The love scene with Marge almost brought a tear to my eye. And it was interesting seeing "Angry Amy" but I also loved the softer side of her when she broke down afterwards and then became Momma to Jane. Apparently, she can never have enough minions. ;)

    And I have a feeling we're not done with Turner and he's gonna have to go down hard. At least I hope both he and his daughter get a major comeuppance. :spank:
