Well, he's gone and done it again, got us all thinking and wondering, then poof, the second holiday in a month hits. He also kinda threw an idea at me a while ago, it just took me a little while to piece it together, it's a work in progress, and definitely not of Magus' quality, but, wth, I kinda enjoyed putting it down.

Loved the chapter. i can see how it's been an emotional roller coaster for you as well. Can't say been there, done that, but, seeing what he saw isn't easy to deal with. It did open up a few more questions, but, I have faith that you'll get them all worked out. Thank you Joe, and keep up the amazing work.

All along, Max and June have been under the impression that David and Cindy are dead. Think for just one minute about how you would feel about your long lost parent and sister coming back from the dead.... How is that going to change your view on your reality? Everything that you've been told or have known is a LIE, the only reality that you have is what you yourself created. You realize that you can't trust anyone anymore. The only one or ones you can rely on are the ones closest to you. Talk about the ultimate in paranoia.... you think everyone is out to get you, and they actually are, it's not just in your head anymore.

Fyi... He LOVES messing with our heads. If you haven't read all of the chapters, he's got more twists and turns than a snake, and ironically, he twists them just as fast. Notice Max is bleeding Blue? that means one of his prosthetics got hit, not his main body. How will the majority survive? Only in the twisted mind of Magus are the answers, then again, Some of the ones rescued may not survive. Usually in a war, no matter how well planned and executed, there are casualties on both sides. Ultimate in revenge would be to let David and Cynthia torture Volstock like he has been to them, before letting his cancer finally just take over. Eventually, maybe Max will realize that there is no possible way to save everyone, but, will be content with saving who he can, and removing the head of the biggest snake, allerting some that are trust worthy and then being there to take in the ones someone else rescues. Maybe forming his own company that goes in and cleans places like that up and he and his family are the receivers for them, doing their best to rehabilitate the ones rescued and able to give them a much better life. I'm hoping there will be more than just one more book, you opened so many possibilities on storylines that you may have to enlist the girls to help you keep them straight... Loved the chapter, can't wait to see who gets what in the end of the battle.

Always a good thing, just remember his tame are crazy according to most other people, but, you both are keeping us guessing what will happen, so it's a good thing

Uh oh... if it came from Magus, be careful, lol. You've seen how convoluted his ideas can be. I mean, I think most of the plans in his stories he tags as "Amy's" but, they're stripped down versions of his own plans. He does it to confuse us. Again, I do love where this is headed, and hopefully life will settle down a little for you so you can put a few more chapters in the book.

It was good to see Amy and Max have a little quality time again, it's been a long time. Two concurrent battles? My guess is their assault on the castle and one that's a little more domestic (the moms all gang up on Evan's mom and show her how truly submissive she is) When that comes out, Evan's dad has a complete personallity change and finally starts taking control at home. Then again, there are two places that they're attacking... the castle and the island at the same time. Can't wait to see what happens in both NorthStar and GITG.

Sadly, what it seems is there are a lot of us with way too active of imaginations that follow these stories, lol. I'm sure that Joe is going to come up with something that none of us really saw coming, that will fit the plot and storyline already in place. Who knows, maybe one chapter he'll kind of paraphrase it all in Kayla's perspective just to show how skewed Jack's perspective really is. Ironically, we know little to nothing about what Jack's dad really does, he may work for some secret government agency with Kayla's dad and it's been their job to try to keep the peace. Jack's dad has an issue with the twins because he secretly had a thing for his sister and it fell apart when they stopped talking (he wanted more, she distanced from him) So many theories out there, just can't wait to see where Joe takes us.

Sadly, the "hurry up and post" would happen if you posted 10 chapters a day, so just write at your pace and make things work for you. I don't mind delays in posting, real life happens a lot of the time to all of us. I can only imagine the 500 questions that she's going to get from her parents after seeing them kiss, the good part is that the parent's don't seem overly uptight, so it will be interesting to see where it all leads.

My problem is when you kind of advertise your story on another person's feed, then have done nothing with it. If you're going to update, at least let us know a ball park figure on time, or don't try to direct traffic to yours without doing anything with them. Your stories have been here a while, and you've done nothing on them. It's been a week since you've even posted in here that you were going to update, either update or stop and just let them go. I do understand that life happens, but, you seem to not even be trying on them. It seems like the only reason you posted in that feed was to give us a link to two dead end stories that you have not thoughts of even trying.

Hmm,adopting a grown man, that will have a pack of hungry women looking for him.... nope. Sorry, you on your own on that one, I prefer my peices and parts where they are, and intact. I've seen territorial women, nope, not gonna die. Give your girls a huge hug, every one of them, i'm sure they need it after you took off. Don't let the students get the better of you, and stay on your game, only way to get them home alive.

I'm sure the girls are happy you didn't break any fingers too. God forbid you take away something that vital, I mean, you need them for massages, and to cook them dinner, lol. And here you thought being an instructor would be so boring, I'm glad that they're keeping you on your toes.

If I remember, Cindy was mentioned in the first book that she was older than Max, she was already established in her own room, complete with "girly" furnishings, and a picture of her with David. Judging by the acceleration that the biomatrix did, Max and Cindy would probably appear about the same age by now, if Max not appearing older. Welcome back to the land of the Internet Magus, I do hope you enjoyed the time with your little Koala bears, as well as the rest of the family. I do love how you managed to kind of bring Rick to the front more, and who knows, maybe we'll find out that the Commisioner, Seargent and Rick were all on the same SEAL team, and still work somewhat closely helping with the net of protection that Max has pretty much destroyed since then. Can't wait for the next chapters and see where this book all goes... Makes me wonder who all they'll find hidden away on that little island.

He knows we're waiting for him to post a chapter. Don't let the quietness fool you, he's a lot smarter than we give him credit for, well, most of us. Spider monkeys, or Koala bears? I guess we know where that part came from in BITG. If y'all that bored and waiting, there's 63 chapters of BITG, and 34 posted of GITG, as well as Going Home. There are also some other pretty amazing authors on this site to keep you busy, not the least is which is BW as well as PW, and Pak, and AngelDust, and a lot of others, He has a life outside of authoring, give the guy a bit of a breather and enjoy the rest of the site as well.

Just because the readers have little to nothing to do but pester an author for chapters does not mean that the author does not have obligations away from writing.... GET OFF BEGGING FOR NEW CHAPTERS!!!!!!!! Magus has explained more than once the reason for the delays in putting up new chapters.. ie, computer died, then family all over for the holiday. If you can't understand that, start writing yourself, let the man enjoy the time with his family, and when the chapter is posted, it will be posted. His world does not revolve around us wanting a chapter.

I've talked with BashfulScribe, the content of his story has been getting them removing the story before it's posted. That's all I'm going to say about him, I came to coment about this chapter in Jashley's series, not talk about other authors. Loved how you brought the entire conflict to a bit of a resolution, but, Jack definitely needs to talk to someone about what happened. I know exactly what Belle went through, well, didn't witness it, but, dealt with the situation after. Bringing Tara in, that could be interesting, Jack obviously loves her, and honestly probably measured most other women to her standard. Beautiful, smart, funny, maybe the one thing most over looked too is they were like best friends. Theres a reason they were, they each probably had what the other was looking for in a partner(ish). He loves and adores Kayla, I have a feeling they do live a long and happy life together, with a few bumps. Either Tara could be a bump for them, or maybe she could feel what she's always wanted, which is loved. The problem there is, if Amanda sees that happen, she'll start wondering why she's not good enough for Jack, she is his actual sister. Wise beyond his years, but, still a teenager. At that age, you're entitled to mess up. Kayla seems ok with Tara joining in with them, as long as she's happy, and don't get jealous, go for it Jack. His worry is more how Kayla feels than himself, and so far, she seems good with it, that may change when actually in the situation, but, who knows. The irony would be that Carson is her "mystery texter" and Kayla has to kind of explain a bit more of her past to Jack. Maybe that Carson is the one that she had professed that she loved all those years ago and now can't stand the sight of him. Regardless, loved the chapter, and welcome back, we did miss you. Carry on how you want to take it, and we'll be here waiting patiently for more chapters.

not so much a full merger, more of a little dabble into where Rick might have met up with Nick, and helped out a bit, then went their separate ways again. I get confused enough with all of them separate, i could only imagine how crazy it'd be if they became one huge group.

I can't wait to see Amy's plan, she always manages to pull it all off. Glad to see some SEALS getting some play time too, they're always up for a good fight, lol. Hmmm, could there be others that the crypt keeper is holding up there too? Someone that may surprise all of us? Only the mind of Magus knows for sure. Congrats on the job, at least you still get to have some kind of play time, and it'll bring you home in on piece. Wait, didn't the last oops with things that go BOOM happen during training? Keep your fingers safe, they're golden.

The girls will accept the news, besides, this way when you get bored, and want to go back, you know the doc is going to tell you no. Let the girls love up on you, and console your ego. One thing I had forgotten about was that Max had actually given one of his teachers one of the computers complete with the Jeeves VI, if Jeeves evolved at the house, that means all of the computers using that system would have as well since they are running through the same system. How good of control does he keep of that computer when alone? The tech is out there to be back tracked, if you find the right port to go through, and that could have been part of it.

Max was enrolled in college classes when he met Amy and Emma, then the dog incident, and Amy going into the pod. It wasn't until after June was killed was school even considered for the kids, and even that was up in the air until Marge took the nurse position, Rick had already been established at the school before that. I'm still wondering how Max will get Mrs. Crawford's bug out of her butt, she still blames Max for her kid getting hit by the truck. Lots of variables in the situation for Magus to play with our minds.

Where Stella was shot wasn't divulged until 33, I posted that just after 32 was put up, so at that time, it was a guessing game where it was. I wonder if Mia will be mroe aggressive now that her boyfriend was one of the killed bots.... hmmm, a little doggy revenge. If she gets prosthetic, how about she goes along the route of Dyno Mutt, lol, the one from old cartoons, and will she be getting chipped as well?

Sounds like Max is taking on the Russian Mafia pretty much on his own, this could get really ugly. My guess, Mike's parents are inherently spies, and the apple didn't fall far from the tree, all those years of them going on trips, leaving him home with a nanny, was it really a nanny or another spy training Mike even at that young age. Lord knows that happens in the here and now, all over the world, kids being trained to be assassins. I'm thinking Max may have to get into Mike's head like he did Han's and see what's bouncing around in there. It may be time for Max to stop resting on his laurels as far as armor too, and evolve to the next stage, or there's gonna be a lot more blood from his group. Loved the chapter, keep em coming.

I guess it all depends on where Stella was hit then. Headshot, she's a goner, leg, the nanites may be able to patch, what kind of round are they using, some rounds will do a lot of internal damage with a small hole. We've seen time and time again, the tech isn't perfect in responses, there may be little gaps, and who knows, they may not have been identified as hostile til the system picked up that they had weapons. Only our resident expert knows, and will tell us when the time is right.
