All along, there's been sex in the series. First book was more sex than story. If I didn't enjoy the sex as well, I wouldn't have kept reading all of it. The problem most seem to forget, it's Magus' series to write as he sees fit. Honestly, it's been more action in this book than the closeness that started all of it in BITG. It wasn't really until the later part of that one that the slave ring was brought in, before that it was more about them as a group and how they interacted and dealt with what happened to them, the trauma from the dog attack that actually made Amy afraid to even pet Mia's mom, June's death, the loss of Max's first daughter, Amy and Emma losing their virginity to Max, as he lost his to them, after that, yeah, it was a bit or an orgy, but, there was the closeness, now everyone is everywhere all the time. Eventually Max and Co. will find that while it's hopeless to try to completely eliminate the evil in the world, they have done a lot more than anyone else has, or will do, even the Pope couldn't keep the crap from happening right under his own nose. Knowing Max, he'll find a way to go the route that Nick has gone, and start hiring people to perform while he is able to concentrate on logistics as well as funding, that would fall into an area that I'm sure Magus is very familiar with. I have loved the overall series from the first time I read about Max getting lost in Emma's eyes, while there's times it goes a direction I may not prefer, it's always true to what Magus wants to put down. For that, I think I speak for a lot of us.... Thank you for giving us hours upon hours of enjoyment and we all look forward to many more. You got banned to your office.... sounds like not much of a punishment, kind of like sending a modern kid to their room... computer, Xbox, big screen, fridge, microwave, and i'm sure a few "adult" beverages. Enjoy the warmth, and don't let the girls break the bank too badly.

I love how Mel seduced Mike... how much input do the girls have on sections like that? I'm a little surprised that no one at the school even asked about Max and Emma not being there when the rest went back to school, then again, I'm sure "honeymoon" was part of someone's conversation regarding them. Yeah, sappy chapters, but, they can't all be shoot em up, they are a loving family after all. You would think that since Joanne's issue is a chemical imbalance that Legion could step in and tinker around a little bit with it. I know it goes against self preservation that Legion will inherently have too, but, I'm hoping that they can either filter them out of her body or flash them before they take her out of the pod. Only the great and powerful Magus knows where things are going, I'm loving the ride. I wonder if Cat is somewhat modeled after your new found "Monkey" enjoy them when they're young, as they get older they cause more gray hairs. We did miss you while you were gone, Enjoy your little bit of snow, and slightly cool weather, just watch the ice. I say cool because it's a lot colder and more snow here, lol. Can't wait for the next NorthStar.

Keep in mind, his new job includes training Newbies.... they aren't always the most coordinated. Then again, Microsux did just do a huge update the other day too, I know it goofed with my computer. With luck, it's nothing major, and the Family all wanted to do something super special for Valentines and kidnapped him for a bit, lol, he can't type when he's tied to the bed and they're ravishing him. Fingers crossed all is well, and can't wait for the next chapters. Good Luck and Godspeed where ever you are Magus.

While most go off into their pairs... Becca with Nadi, Rick and Suzy, Marge and May, Amy with Alice.... every time Max is and has always been the odd man out. First it was Emma with Amy, then Emma with Becca, now Emma with Petra. All of the women seem to and tend to worry more about themselves than they really ever have about Max, the case with the blow ups, Max was concerned about the girls, the girls were only concerned about how him leaving would affect them. So far, the only ones I've seen that have put Max first have been the twins, they've been right there with him the entire time, yeah, even saving his ass when he tries to blow himself up. His first run on the orphanage, every one of the girls threw themselves at not only eachother, but, others as well. Some might say it was to take their minds off of the fact that Max was in harms way and may not come back, but, to me it shows the lack of deep concern, being the first time he was away, typically they would have worried themselves sick and pretty much shut down if there really was the deep connection. If it was the 100th mission away, that may be a different situation, a person gets a little more if not comfortable, a little less worried. None of them were overly worried when he almost fried his brain to save Marge, even Alice just griped at him about it. Even in the sub, instead of deeply caring about Max, the twins are after something physical instead of trying to take care of the emotional, worried about their own wants instead of what Max really needs. He physically broke himself to save all of them, and everyone's only concern is making out, that has been the pattern every time. We all know that there is a plan plotting in that mind that we are following, and we all know it's very twisted, I personally can't wait to see where it goes.

Max has said all along that he'd be perfectly happy with only Emma. It was Emma that added everyone else in, to make and keep her happy and less chance of jealousy, Max went along with it. Emma added Amy, Emma added Marge, Emma added June, Emma added Becca, and Emma added Petra. It started because she wanted to be able to play with others and didn't want Max to feel left out of all of that. Max's loyalty to Emma won't falter, even when the blow up happened, she was his biggest concern, that she wouldn't want him anymore, the others had always been along for the ride. He had never asked for what he has, it was offered to him, and almost expected of him to go along. In some ways Emma wants to be like Amy, to have the freedom to play around, but, the stability of having Max as well, in other words, have her cake and eat it too.

Rick is secretly an ace pilot, takes Emma and Petra to the ice pack, landing on it, then dumping the sub, auto programming it for super deep water. Rick and David's old CIA group kept tabs on June and Max, all of that tech has a signature that can be traced. Or David had written a bug into the core programming for Alice allowing them to eavesdrop inside of the house. Too much tech dependence as far as intelligence of the bots, one computer glitch and they're screwed. High tech armor, low tech weapons, K.I.S.S. can't hack what don't have a computer. When they get home, Max upgrades everyone's car to a 1929 Model A with a diesel, taking them completely off the grid, no outside network connections after he builds a body for Jeeves and Albert.

The Alaska trip is the most viable, the bad part is with all of the damage, Max would still be in the Pod when everyone meets up, so Emma would rip him a new one for getting hurt.... again. Her hormonal imbalance from pregnancy causes her to rape him in the Virtual World from relief. MacGuyvering an antena, with paperclips and bubblegum they manage to get ahold of them on the ranch in Wyoming to meet up. Or Max says screw it, buys a cruise ship and they dock closer to home. The intel photos are loaded into Interpol, and Jeeves notices them, notes the coordinates, plots a likely route and creates a sat window for them to land. For some reason I saw that scene from the movie where he lubes and tries to screw the clarinet when you mentioned Band Camp.

With luck, and a lot of skillful writing, I hope that we don't see the replacment of Max with Petra like we did with Becca, for the longest time, Max was left to take care of everyone and everything at home and with the kids while the girls all just enjoyed the ride, hopefully they'll keep when Nadi got pregnant in mind before they pull that stunt again. In some ways Max is a lot like Gerald... he gives until it hurts and the women all seem to take advantage of it, whether they mean to or not, I doubt it's a concious decision it tends to happen, sadly they're usually blind to what is happening until it's too late. I still see no redeeming qualities in Joanne.... none. From what I see, she's nothing more than a lying manipulative, bully that when Gerald finally stood up to her scared the crap out of her. Her little safety net was in danger and did everything she could to keep that from going away. Maybe her motivation is her own lack of confidence, or lack of any real skills and desperately needed Gerald to be the one to provide for her because she couldn't and can't for herself, in essence she's got fewer coping skills in life than any of the rescued girls. That is all the more reason for Gerald to use that against her and probably teach her good for nothing mother the same lesson... that apple didn't fall far from the tree, i'm sure. Mommy dearest herself probably did pretty much the same thing with Joanne's dad. Now that the FBI has all of that info, it does make me wonder what they'll do with it. They have a good idea of where Max is, and what he's been doing. The conflict is that he's been way more effective doing their job than they could have. A small group, of specialized people can usually be way more effective than an entire army just going in and trying to steamroll. Two or three people can get closer, and drop more while the enemy isn't hiding than an announced group can when everyone turns tail and disappears. Can't wait to see where all of it goes. Amazing chapters, as always Magus, thank you for the entertainment that you do provide all of us.

Stay warm and kinda dry, hopefully you don't get snowed in, just lots of good old fashioned rain. 60F in January here, that just don't happen, we should be under a foot or two of snow :/ oh well, not going to look that gift horse in the mouth. Don't let the girls see you call them monkeys, that's a sure way to wind up sleeping on the porch under a sheet. Can't wait to see what mayhem comes around out of all of this.

You, evil? never!!!!! Loved the chapters in NorthStar, you could keep going on that for a bit, and let things go where they will in GITG. Something that I do kinda find irritating personally tho, authors commenting about the pace of your posts yet have been leaving people hanging on their own series.... if you're that bored, write. While everyone understands about real world obligations, you seem to not give that same understanding. Magus has given us three chapters, in two different series in just about 48 hours, pretty impressive no matter who you are, some we've been waiting a couple weeks for anything yet they're begging for more from others, don't ask for what you can't/won't deliver yourself.

SADIST!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I can say. Pure evil genius. I have to admit, I've missed the one on one chapters with Max and the girls. How much is he missing Emma and Petra? The deeper it goes with Joanne and Gerald, the fewer redeeming qualities I see in her (not that I had seen many to begin with). Were it me... I would wipe her memory of everything, and sit her ass in the middle of the Saudi Desert naked, letting the Arabs BBQ her, unfortunately, that might poison them and cause a mass hysteria over there, that would drop oil prices to a record low, making the US reconsider their stand on energy independence (if we can buy oil cheap there, why make our own?). Or, you could package her, and send her to North Korea.... Let her have a go at the leader over there, either way, wipe her memory of her family and friends and flush the bitch, she actually makes Thomas seem almost saintly. I can't wait to see the next few in NorthStar, I've kinda missed Anna's antics to a degree, almost a tamer version of Amy.... almost. At least in that one, we all kind of see where it's going to end, it's a matter of filling in the past, and explaining everyone's part and how they joined the family. Take the time you need to keep putting out the quality we've come to count on. The best part of another book, there can always be a few loose ends that get continued.

Gotta agree, I have seen zero redeeming qualities in Joanne... flush that bitch, kind of like how Max took care of Thomas, quietly >... Amy historically has had her paws on most of the new ones quickly, remember how she brought Stell and Carol in. Not so sure I'd like to see Max and Cynthia get together, then again I remember when Amy wasn't sleeping with anyone with two legs and boobs too. Loved the chapter really, can't wait to see what happens with Joanne and Gerald, as well as Emma's reaction when she meets Cynthia in person too. My faith in groups like the FBI, CIA and similar is kind of sketchy, they seem too big, and similar to Max's view on the church, are only out to cover and take care of their own butt, usually by placing the blame on someone else. "They didn't give us the information" when they knew themselves they probably had it, just didn't pay any attention to it. Installing A.L.I.C.E. into a Fed database would definitely be a good call for Max, the best way to cover tracks is from the inside as well as learning everything that they already know. They could be very interesting chapters, can't wait.

Flush the bitch.... or maybe show her just how submissive she really is. Have Samantha as the "dom" in the relationship, one with a good heart, similar to how Jenna has been with Evan.
-
As if two cliffhangers in the chapter weren't bad enoug.... you drop a huge teaser in here..... truly a sadist! Welcome back to the land of fantasy. Glad to know that rw crap is temporarily repaired, we all know it's never permanent. Loved the chapter, can't wait for more.

All of that makes you wonder what happened with Carson. How bad did he mess with Craig's head? It really is good seeing Jack trying to grow as a person, and actualy wanting to learn more about the people around him. Dad's reaction was kind of expected, I think he has some personal demons from his past that he needs to deal with, maybe he had a similar situation starting with his own sister, and his dad beat it into his head that somehow it's just not right. How would Kayla getting a part, and Jack not affect them? She would be at rehersals and he wouldn't be, it would bring opportunities with other people wanting to come between them, there are others that have already been showing her the interest but mainly lack of opportunity to act on it. Awesome chapter as always, can't wait to see who gets shipped off or how that one plays out.

Sorry it took so God awful long to post this one, the holidays really put a crimp in the time allotted, it's shorter than the rest, and honestly i'm not sure that I will add more yet. I won't list it as complete, just kind of consider it a bit of a work in progress. I did kind of button up a few loose ends, but, also left it open for further exploration when time permits. Thank you all for the positive feedback and hopefully the muse catches me to continue as well as time permitting me.

So many questions brought out, you answered some, made more. What did Kayla and Tara really "do" with all of that alone time? Will Jack ever come clean to Kayla about what Amanda tried? How many other skeletons does Kayla have hidden away? Will Jeff make an appearance before the end of this school year? What really happens with Alan and Amanda? To finish high school with Jack (and hopefully Kayla) or not. The path you choose is ultimately yours. For me personally, I'd like to see them grow pretty much step by step instead of one huge leap. There still is the possible debate as to who "she" is in the title. Is it Kayla? Is it Tara? Or is it someone we may not suspect... Amanda? Granted, Amanda would be a stretch, you have to consider where Alan would fit into all of it. Bravo on yet another amazing chapter, as always keeping us wondering where it will go, and what will happen.

Karma has actually done a great job of taking care of him really, last I knew, he was having some pretty serious legal problems and would be visiting "Bubba" in the big house for a few years. He also hadn't been able to have any kind of a relationship with anyone since her as well, apparently something about seeing her every time he closed his eyes. The holidays were good, cold, but, good. Still working on the next chapter, still not positive how I should take it. A great writer once told me that to make it a little better story, the good guys gotta lose a little too, or then it's way too unbelievable, yeah, it's fiction, but, I try to keep it at least a little plausible. I'm hoping by the weekend, I'll be posting the next chapter, . I hope all had a good and safe holidays. To the one with the "monkey" you'll miss her when she's gone, but, think how much you laughed when she was there, that'll make it a little easier to tide you over til you see her again.

Loved the chapter, good twist on it, can't wait to see everything Gemma worked out while she was out, what a lot of her decisions regarding Sam lead to.
-
Well, 6 is up, I hope you all enjoy.
-
idk what's scarier... the fact that it vended it and she don't notice, or that there's a damn thong that big
-
From the description... wouldn't it be more like Samantha Rides a Hippo?
-
Don't short change yourself on your skills Joe, a lot of us could only wish to write half as well as you do.
-
Who from Max's team don't make it out, we already know he feels defeated by having to leave the "donors" behind... only the great and wise Magus knows.

You may want to get a voice to text program, I have a feeling there may be a couple broken arms involved in that one, lol I really gotta slow down, I guess I may gotta send them all out to sea for a while, but, hmmm, leave Taylor at home, or no?
