Hmm… Y’all think a character turning into a zombie counts as character-death tag worthy?

I had an MRI on my shoulder today, and I have to say, there is nothing like being held motionless in a tube for 35 minutes to get you doing serious mental work on your writing projects. Among other things, I figured out what the first scene of my next novel will be, and I worked out the details of the sex scene in the upcoming chapter of “Multiversity.” I should spend more time in tubes.

Halloween is getting closer. Everyone is invited to the Halloween party, be thinking up those stories.

So, whilst at the lake, my laptop decided its hard drive was gone. Not that it was much of a laptop to begin with, but a braindead laptop is nothing more than a paperweight. Time to buy a nice new hard drive, and grumble a bit about annoyingly inconvenient technology...

So, the answer to avoid a multi-chapter halloween fic is to add in a well placed flashback.  Seems to do the trick, summarizing the mood (with a nice bonus of not having to add in the minor1 tag).

Well, despite being quite ill, I seem to have managed to complete another chapter. And it didn’t look like it was ever going to happen this one, so… bonus, I guess.

I don’t know. I guess I’ll just do the read through.

Does anyone else ever just read a book and start comparing characters?  Or am I the only crazy one?  Admittedly, the toaster does tell me the Oven hates me, so maybe...
