So today my dog got nettle rash and came up in massive lumps. I took him straight to the vet, who gave him an injection. Good. Until it's ten past ten and the lumps are reappearing, and there is no vet until morning

If it's allergies children's Benadryl can ease the symptoms. Happened to my dog after we discovered her basil allergy.

Also consider giving the dog a bath to wash off the contaminant.

In the end, all I had in the house was Claritin, so I gave him a tiny bit of that, and he could sleep. Going back to the vet this morning.
