I am thanking Leon for her suggestion.
I am considering a movie, and then perhaps reading until I can't keep my eyes open any longer.
I am glad it's only for one night.
I am alone in the house (well, except for my 5 y.o. daughter).
I am stating that 'Trae took the boys camping.
I am never able to sleep well when 'Trae is gone.
That just struck me as exceptionally funny (and a tad bit perverted) for some reason.
I have had guy friends who are bi & gay and I'm totally fine with it.
I got hit on by a girl once when I was young and naive, and it freaked me out at the time. (Jeez how I wish I knew then what I know now! ) Does that make me homophobic towards lesbians? I don't think that it would bother me now ... in fact ....
At any rate. I think Poly summed it up quite nicely.
Well, this is Aimless Babble after all, but I agree....
Taker, quit derailing the thread!
Now for my .02ยข:
Number three under prejudice seems to me to be the best way to describe homophobia, but I can understand why phobia is often used. I do agree that phobia makes it sound more acceptable (lacking the negative connotations that prejudice implies).
I am sitting in the 'dungeon' (read: basement) because my laptop is dead.
I am going to be very busy this morning with taking DD5 to a two hour 'camp' and then to the doctor.
I am off to take a shower.
My oldest is nearly 13, and my sweet, quiet little boy has turned into a moody, stubborn, rebelliouis wreck. I am so not looking forward to the next 10-15 years of raising teenagers.
Oh, and my laptop is dying too, so I feel your pain.
I am sporting a Weasleys wallpaper (courtesy of the official OOTP site).
I am migrating everything that's important to me off of my laptop.
I am stating that it is making a weird, buzzing noise that alternately sounds like there's a race track inside of it, or a trapped bee.
I am thinking that this prolly doesn't bode well for it's future.
