Been a while since I have had a chance to stop by and say hello. Waves to everyone I know. Hi Guys! Hope everyone is doing well!
-
Me thinks that Sick Cycle Carosel song should be my anthem of late. Kids moving around, and all sorts of real world chaos happening around me. At least none if it is my own.
-
Spent from 5:30 AM trapped in the E.R. with my very sick neighbor. Yea Gods why does it have to take so freaking long for doctors to help an elder who can't fucking breathe? Finally home, and in dire need of a stiff drink.
-
Finally found the raw, unproccessed and unfiltered honey to make the year's temple ritual mead. So much to do,a nd getting another student it seems.

ROFL. I would agree if it were a normal mead for drinking and getting drunk off of for fun. However, this is not your normal drinking booze variety recipe. It is a genuine ancient recipe passed down through the priesthood in my family for a very long time. So yeah, I make 4 gallons per year because of the time, effort ,and unusual ingredient list that it requires. To be honest, it tends to mess with the senses in ways that normal drunken states do not.
-
I can imagine! But for getting squiffy, I stick to wine or sake myself. Sweet drinks give me the worst hangovers.
-
Hahaha I am a rum or whiskey gal myself, Bronx. 151 Bacardi or Wild Turkey 101 being my standard drinks. If I want sweet I go with Drambuie, Ameretto, or Grand Marnier. LOL. But, as a rule, I don't really like the taste of many types of alcohol beyond that very small list.

Head desking around the clock. Can someone else get off their lazy ass and become the Matriarch please? The job Sucks!
-
Been a cray couple of weeks, but I get to go in to get new glasses so I can see again. One good thing has come of the constant chaos I call family life.
-
New glasses are always a good thing. When we thaw out here, I'm going for a pair myself.
-
I am in shock at how much detail I can see now that I have mine. I had to go with two pairs so I have a work pair and everyday ones. It's nice to be able to read smaller print again. I was so blind I had to oversize everything times 20 on my computer so could not enjoy normal books any longer. I'm going crazy catching up on my paperbacks now.

I hate when my plot bunnies war over which POV character should be used in a given scene. Rawwwrrrr!
-
Been a busy couple days and the plot bunnies are still obsessed witht he mission they gave me to type it out. Seems I'm doing okay with dipping my toes in a sword and sorcery type tale. Did not expect that at all.
-
::squeaks happily:: Sword and sorcery!
-
Yeah I started a Fairy Tail Fan fiction for a couple of my gal pals who had to have surgery this month. One had polyps removed last week. The other other is having 3 types of knee surgery throughout this month. Both need amusements while stuck in bed so they asked me for a magic flinging story. ROFL.

I hate Hackers and Computer Virus makers! They Suck . . . because they set out to ruin everything to feel better about their lack of meaningful lives.
-
The Plot Bunnies came out of deep hibernation stark raving mad. Whip cracking fiends are making me pull my hair out. New genres are scary territory.
-
I think they were off filing their teeth and sharpening their claws over the holiday. Scouting out new terrain to slash and burn down the the bare soil. One's chewing right now, kick it!
-
ROFL. In my case they slept for a year while I dealt with all the 80's through 100 year old relatives dying within 8 1/2 months time. However, I have to agree the vile beasts have much longer, sharper claws and fangs this round. Think they upgraded their whips too.

Merry Christmas to all who celibrate the holiday this evening and tomorrow. Hope it is a wonderful celebration with tons of love/family fun.
-
As I shall be insanely busy tomorrow with temple/grove festivities, I wanted to say a huge Happy Yule to all who celebrate it. I hope everyone has a beautiful celebration with their covens, groves, temples, and family. Blessed be to all!

After so long stressed out, and dried up, my plot bunnies poked their heads out of hybernation. I found myself pounding on my keyboard. Was great to feel my shoulders unlock as words appeared, others chasing hard on their heels.

Thanks for the hug and sending one right back to you, Bronx. Writing compulsively has long been my pressure valve release, so I have been getting Muscle locked and stressed out for quite some time. When my shoulder blades suddenly unlocked and dropped last night I thought I was going to feint for a few minutes. ROFL.
-
It's a good feeling, isn't it? I'm cleaning up my NaNo and fixing all the stuff that's desperately wrong, and I love it.
-
Awesome. Let me know if you decide to post it here so I can get some decent eye candy to enjoy. I've been too broke to feed much of my reading habit this year with all the craziness I was fixing everywhere. :{
-
Why is it, that when the world and society gets broken, everyone who even remotely knows me thinks it is my exclusive job to fix everything? Yeesh, I'm not that great at fixing things for crying out loud!

Huge bear hug back, Bronx. LOL on the vacation. Everyone always tells me I am the glue that holds them plus the damned world together so I know they appreciate me. I'm just exhausted after a year of being the most stubborn rock to ever exist on steroids. 10 deaths and the fall out has me exhausted out of my ever loving mind so I am getting whiny.
-
The downside of being both capable and reliable is that people notice.
-
Very true, George. I just go through short periods of extreme exhaustion trying to make sure that I live up to my rep I suppose. LOL
-
Just found out that the yearly 1 week camping/hunting trip is canceled. We did not get the draw this year. Worse, Uncle Russ's work stopped doing paid vacations and cut back hours.
-
First fall cold has struck. Typical for me to get sick when the temps fluxuate so dramatically from one day to the next.
-
I really hope everyone had a happy, safe, and fun Halloween yesterday. Things were super busy over here as we got ready for our yearly festival and ate way too much home made yumminess.

Awesome that you dressed up for the holiday, Kagome. I went as a viking this year myself. ROFL. Figured I should put my Sir name to good use for once. The fake fur was nice and warm. I still have to finish washing the last of the platters from the feast, but that will go fast enough once I stop procrastinating. LMAO.
-
We dressed as conspiracy nuts with UFO t-shirts and foil hats.
-
Awesome, George. Wish I could have seen the outfits.
-
Life is crazy as always with too much rat racing to get everything done that must be done. Landlord is being a jerk again on top of the RL craziness.
-
Have another dog/house sitting job to do this weekened. A nice change of pace from the daily grind at home.
-
Peace at last. Time to do a marathon of Initial D anime watching so I can get back to writing, Damitol!
-
I finally got all the stupidity generating egomaniacs out of my hair. Never play head games with a survivor of domestic violence. I know the word twisting head game better than most because I pay real attention to what is said and the nuances do not escape me!
-
When did someone else's 15 year old boy chasing after a 20 year old girl (met at my house months ago) become my fault, (unaware of the situation until last night) legally?

Aye, and I wouldn't expect it to be any other way. I'd offer some firewood, but there's nowhere to really store it in the apartment...
-
Did they find the prick who stole the tools?
-
No they never did, JayDee. It is not a surprise that the tools and thief were never found to the rest of us. Considering they were consecrated tools, the man's stupidity in leaving them where they could be stolen means he actually deserved to lose them.
-
Really wish the real world would take a flying leap off a really tall cliff some days.
-
I stripped/revised Chapters 1-4 of Driven Heart yesterday. Will be replacing the chapters today. Chapter 5 will be replaced by evening. Feeling accomplished for once.
