    Well, at least you brought your mesage to the author. That's the main thing. Readers are partial : ) and subjective - that's why they agree with such authors' tactics . And what can you have against mentioning your nickname if you aren't ashamed of your opinion? It just proves she will remember you next time she gets the same idea I'm glad there are still some readers like you because I always review what i liked, yes, but i hate such "blackmailing", too. You can always find some.. better way to get feedback .

    Happy anniversary. Good that I didn't miss this news:) I've been around not for very long time (2 years) but I'm quite impressed with the job you're doing. You introduce and set norms, simple but necessary, thus keeping our creative authors to some limits in form, content and standard.. and not-so-creative authors are kindly taught (at least we hope so) a lesson or two about plagiarism \ politeness (or about themselves )) You provide a link, a connection and so much desired feedback for authors. AFF is a good platform to test out one's audience if you plan to become a writer, ne? Not to mention readers.. Personally, I will feel forever grateful to AFF as a reader for what I had already found here.. my list of must-reads is sooo long! Long live AFF. And thank you all! P.S.: I thought about a list of really great things or ideas that AFF promotes, directly or indirectly. It has to do with SO MANY aspects of our life. That's why we need it (?) Start with freedom(s)..

    The first fictions that came to my mind with Itachi-Naruto-Sasuke were "Eviscerated trust" and "Brutally Beautiful" by Word_Slave (an excellent Author!) Actually, in most stories I've read Itachi's more a rapist than a lover to Naruto, so I don't think I should recommend them but try this one: "Captured in Your Eyes" by SuishouTenshi

      I read it on FanFiction.Net. It's "A Little Less Than Forgotten" by myfailsafe ( http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3392606/1/A_Little_Less_Than_Forgotten) - and I liked it much more than famous "Roommates" though the plot is similar.

    I like Jen's reviews.. read lots of them. I generally agree with her and wish I could write just as much, logically, detaily and emotionally as she does.. I read and liked your story, too. But I couldn't write as good a review (FromAfar) as she did, I'm afraid (with good stories it's a bit complicated:) I liked the part with Sakura's "flaming red panties" so much..! It's curious that Sasuke's life (or story, generally speaking) is so strictly devided in chapters: job, family (prologue \ preface), sex life, feelings,past,childhood (ch.I), changes of scene = a new mission (ch.3). Yes, they ARE interconnected.. but we can try to interpret this distinct division as showing what kind of person Sasuke is. Very logical, detached, a shinobi, yes. The lines that made me really look foward to reading more (promising!) are: "I looked through your file." He tapped the folder with his finger. "Yeah, there's a lot of dumb shit in here, but I don't think that's who you really are. I once knew somebody that was just like guy in here. Always getting in trouble, didn't know who he was, or what he wanted out of life. Turned out, all he needed was something to focus on and to fight for, something that was more important than anything else in this world." They say you should live for something you could die for (?) Good luck with the story.

    Well, maybe my "recommendations" won't be very useful as I don't like these pairings in Naruto, but.. Try these if you like (but Sakura is evil or very unlucky rival in them): Homecoming by Myth720 All in by loraney Volatile by hina88 Secret Love by yaoigurl06 ------ (( Dreams of the Heart )) by Eien (Sakura - Itachi) I couldn't find "Through Glass" on AFF (Sasuke-Naruto-Sakura)..

    Hm.. it's not the thing that I "hate" about fanfics, for me it just shows that the author's a beginner or too ready to follow some 'standards' (or lazy \ uncreative). I'm talking about "FLASHBACK" devision of narration. The best AFF authors I've read know well how to avoid this. There are plenty of ways to make such transition more subtle, natural. I think anything is better than these annoying letters in capitals ) What do you think about the excess of (very) personal info about the author? (included into the summary \ prologue \ else)? Does it help you to trust the author more, to sympathize with him \ her (who claims to know something terrible from his\her own personal experience) or just annoys you? It doesn't work for me 'cause a badly written story is a badly written story, and these extra details won't change it I'm asking because in our culture it's not typical for authors to mention some really intimate details about yourself, esp. if you're a grownup.

    Yep. And be a bit more responsible for the stuff you upload or more self-critical It just the way to improve everything. And I'm not talking about grammar or spelling mistakes.. they're nothing compared to the rest.

    And one more thing: I don't like (and don't understand) when the author, answering to reviews \ criticism, says that he doesn't take his writing seriously.. it's kinda fun for me, so what's wrong with you, guys?.. You feel like a fool wasting your time on such "authors".

    I don't like "one-character-knows-best" stories. They're openly biased, add nothing to your perception and uninteresting. If humorous, they can be fun, though:) BTW, happy ends are overrated. Especially sloppy,quick HE, when sworn enemies \ ideologic opponents are kissing and professing love to each other right after their "ultimate battle". I don't mind happy ends if they're logic \ credible enough. Sloppy writing ("let's get quickly to smutty \ sex \ yaoi part + dismiss the rest") is always BAD, bad idea.
