he would remember everything that happened in the old world, have all his skills etc but memories of what he WOULD have experienced from the new world slowly start to enter his mind, he starts remembering things at random like a birthday as a child, becoming a Chuunin or Jounin and other random things in the life of the new world. would also be painful as all hell at times too

well what im thinking is that Naruto after the jutsu is used, wakes up in a bed so hes not like in an ice cube and breaks out finding hes in a new world. he has all the memories of what his life WAS like and what happened up to that point. the jutsu happens on a friday night, he wakes up saturday morning, the next day to find everything is changed. his parents are alive, the 3rd is and even the 3 sain are in konoha, even the slaughter of the Uchiha clan didnt happen, so all of that is going to freak him out beyond reason, slowly his memories of the life of that world start to enter his mind bit by bit over time

good points. but what im thinking is that one of my OCs its his mind that goes back in time in actuality, he tells him self mentally or whispers in his own ear to not do A or B instead to X or Y but using Naruto as the medium, hes kind of frozen in a way, so hes in the same place in time, but in a different world now because the OC made the actual changes ordering his village to do or not do things effecting the actual history of Naruto's actual life at a level but its still the same. like his parents werent killed when he was born, this didnt happen at all but that did and so on.

from the description i wouldnt have actually thought that, its ..... hinted? but not really stated so to me at least, im not always sure where to post my questions or ideas

i have a naruto fic in the works and im now toying with an idea where its in a sort of armageddon and some OCs are going to use a jutsu (spell) using him as a medium to go back several years in time mentally to change decisions they had made effecting the timeline, Naruto on the other hand will remember everything that was. what are some things that i should be aware of for writing a story involving time travel, what are the do's and dont's of it. if more detail is needed i can go into it, but its still up in the air at the moment

see i wouldnt have thought that though, i would have thought it would fit more in a general conversations section or something. maybe the description should be changed?

we have a section for designing characters, but what about a section for just general conversations about an idea? where would i go to ask a general question about ...... the rules of writing a fic with time travel, what are the do's and dont's. just someplace to ask random questions that currently dont relate to anything except in the story in a part

humm actually during my google search i did breez something about crystals and metals or something like that being used for air frames, missiles .... i think it was titanium actually, havent seen anything about what you said, google said diamond is the strongest one

i tend to look at stories of angels, gods demons and monsters as possible primitive man seeing something that he/she just doesn't understand, perfect example is the Thor movie, not magic just really advanced science that kicks your ass ^_- in either case, im thinking weapon and armor wise, im going to go with a crystal type alloy or something thats .....molded/melded/fused with Titanium so that it can have more of a structure to it? it would also give a silver type look while reinforcing the crystal. now comes another hard part, what crystal to use? i cant think of any mythical ones that could be used and i wouldn't want to use a real one that wouldn't work at all

humm good points. im in no way religious my self, another atheist, but i like using demons and angels in the context of some stories and other related projects, that its more of a species type of thing instead of a gods and devils thing. If you ever played the Diablo games that would be one example of what i would think of. angelic weapons i would think would be more lighting based as demonic would be more fire based as for the materials used to make their weapons and armor, i could see crystals/glas being used as not many would be able to recreate that kind of forging style i would think. maybe molded crystal/glass over a metal?

im working on a not so small project, right now im working on ideas of what and how some items might be made. for example, what would an angelic weapon or armor be made of? i figure demonic would be a combo of obsidian and brimstone/sulfur what are your thoughts on this?

yeah thats the movie. im also looking at some clips from the hitchhikers guide to the universe where people are just going nuts. im still in note taking stage of the story, its a long ways off

very good points, in ether case this .... mentality to find out why, will be the driving force to obtain the ability to explore the galaxy and find these guys. i just need some of the who what and why things get nasty in the starting. im thinking that aside from the mass suicides that would remove the idiots from the equation, there might be some small skirmishes between factions in the light of the sides that want to just go and destroy them, ones that want to find and be friends and the lets find out what they want first sides. because the real kicker is that, all we see is the ships all over the world, no videos of what they look like or anything, but we know that they exist now and that they are very advanced. i think there would be some ..... cults? of religious zealots that would want to keep us out of space, hidden away and want to destroy anything that would support finding the aliens kind of like in the movie ..... damn it, i cant think of its name but it has a sphere where one person is sent into .... hyper space but there is a cult that wants to stop the launch of the ship. it was a dumb movie, kind of tricky but interesting ..... just a bit.

humm. im working on a story where its almost a nuke war, the nukes go up but vanish, alien ships appear and later send a world wide message of "to find out why, come find us" i want to see what people might act like after that *we just save your ass and you know it* sort of mentality or something*

im trying to figure out what would happen on earth if we humans had clearly made contact with alien life or seen CLEARLY alien ships in a way that it could not be denied or anything. what would people most likely do? im sure there might be some mass suicides from SOME religious zealots, but other than that, what might happen?

i HATE the feel good reviews because they dont tell you anything of use, I want to know what someone liked about my story, why they liked it and what they did not like, and maybe that they caught something here or there too. i want a real review from someone with half a brain while not being a royal jack ass about it.

well its at 15 chapters ATM but I am still working on the story, shouldn't be long till its done. please feel free to make any comments as long as there going to be useful or constructive, i dont want a pat on the back or someone trying to kick me in the balls, just be respectful is all I ask

yeah i know what the pentagram really is, but because of media, like movies, games and TV shows, most people would see it as being evil but thats because they dont understand it. like in sleepy hollow when the spider goes under icabod's bed and they find that crazy pentagram thing with an eye. i want to do reasearch, but google didnt help much, i searched. japanese evil symbols japanese evil icons and asian symbols of evil and power. i got lots of results just not what i was looking for .... unless Mazda is an evil organization >_> basically the samurai is going to go to places like a destroyed village and there will be banners of .......... hinting that it was these evil monsters and people that came in here, destroyed the village, killed every one, raped the women etc etc etc. the Japanese royal family from what i understand, is symbolized by the white lotus or some thing like that. if there isnt any thing Japanese, any thing that is of Asian origin would be fine, Chinese, Korean or what ever.

so i have a few heroes that im working on, i have all most all of the personal stuff for them worked out its just some of the minor details. i have a samurai who is part of the royal elite guard, they use the white lotus as their icon, one of his enemy is very evil, wants to destroy his kingdom etc etc. i need a flag/banner for them that is also Japanese in nature, i was thinking of a evil symbol like the pentagram, but i cant find one for japan. does any one know what a symbol like that would be? what is their version of the pentagram.

thanks for the link. the thing is that reasearch only works when .... it works, because my first .... 5? trys i only found kinds in that X servs this and that one this etc or WHAT these foods were, not if they are meant for adults or families. some of the foods sound good, going to have to try them, but google didnt help so ... i posted here, one of a few places i trust to get good info from
