Okay, for publishing, the ReCaptcha appears on the first screen, before you type/ copy/paste the chapter in to the text field. I was unable to duplicate the error, because I don't have a ReCaptcha request from the system once I'm on the chapter page. I then click preview, and another screen came up which had a button for me to publish. First screen on adding: Text box: preview: If it's giving you the error after the second screen, can you please take a screen cap of what's happening?

The only posting that was here in this archive was a plagiarized copy, and as such was deleted. The plagiarist's profile was taken over and added to the Hall of Shame in 2010. However, the above site is still there; they've changed the link to require registration for viewing stories.

Words cannot express how much anger I feel on your behalf at the other physicians not wanting to help. I can't imagine an excuse that would explain why they would not be willing to at least just renew the prescription. I did find an alternative, if he's on an oral dose since he's having trouble swallowing, that you might be able to discuss with his physician: Proladone - but I don't know his dosage, so I don't know if it's feasible. There's also the possibility of OxyNorm which is available as an injection. I don't know how it works in Australia, but in the US, a physician can call a prescription in to the pharmacy for refills. If he can't himself (out of town/country), usually his head nurse can. That truly is a deplorable situation, and I'm really sorry that you have to go through this on top of everything else. My heart aches for you.

Joe, There are a lot of reasons an author will remove a work. If they are getting published, their contract may include that they have to eliminate all fanfiction. If they are no longer happy with the work, they may delete it. If they leave the fandom, they may delete it. If they want to re-work the story, they may delete it. The bottom line is that it's their piece, and they can choose to remove it. Because you don't find it here, doesn't mean that the author was banned. In the case of this particular work, a very quick search pulled up this forum thread (here on this board) and led me to this author page in the archive. So obviously, the author isn't banned, even though the story isn't there. As to the policy, it's clearly stated on the entry to this forum. That same statement appears at the top of every search sub-forum here. It is also stated on the entry point to the search forums. In all, it's been posted 23 times in the forum, and in order to make your thread, you had to have seen it at least once.
