  2. I want to remind people, that if you have taken up a challenge and written a story, it is recommended you post a link to your story in the relevant thread. And then create a review reply thread in the appropriate forum where everyone is welcome to discuss the story to their heart's content.
  3. To start with, the only person you'll get into trouble is yourself. We do not punish other people for your behavior. And I am going to try one more time. This is a Challenges and Requests Forum. That means that it is a place for people to post ideas for stories that they want to see written, because they either don't have time to do it themselves, do not think they can do the idea justice, or feel that their writing is lacking in some way, so others could do a better job of it. Or simply they are not writers themselves and want to offer their ideas up for writers to play with. Challenges and Requests are meant to be answered, and taken on. That means, you read the original post, you like the idea, and you offer to write the story. It's simple and easy. This is NOT a place for a group of people to spout random ideas (no matter if they are in line with the original post or not). It is one thing for a writer offering to write the story and the original poster to discuss the development of the story in this forum, with input from a few souls who have expressed an interest in the idea. And what you seem to be putting up here, is just another place for Exactly what's going on in the "slut of sluts" thread. We have other forums for this sort of discussion. The Writers' Corner Forum is better for a think tank type of a discussion, or the Story Collaboration Forum, if the plan is to get a lot of different ideas together, and then write a story based on those ideas. But remember that if you write a story using elements or ideas from others, you might need to provide the Archive Mods with permissions from those people.
  4. Challenges and Request Forums. This is where you can post challenges to writers, or request stories to be written based on your ideas. If you want to take up a challenge or request, it is permitted for the original poster and the author to discuss ideas and how to progress the story. It is recommended that once an author has taken up a challenge or request, and posted the story, s/he post a link to the story in the relevant Challenge or Request thread, and then create a Review Response thread in the appropriate forum, where readers and author are welcome to discuss the story at any length. It is NOT permitted to post random, unrelated ideas, or hijack a thread to come up with new ideas, no matter whether they are related to the original post or not. If the writer who takes up the challenge asks for input, keep it to the point, and do not derail the discussion, and allow the author time to respond. The Challenges and Requests forum is NOT meant to be used like some sort of a think tank with endless ideas being thrown out, but no one taking up the challenge. If you have an idea, create your own thread to post your ideas, and wait for someone to take up the challenge.
