  1. I got the seventh level. Repenting Believers Very Low Virtuous Non-Believers Very Low Lustful Very High Gluttonous High Prodigal and Avaricious Very High Wrathful and Gloomy Extreme Heretics Extreme Violent Extreme Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers Extreme Treacherous Extreme Well, I'm screwed then.
  2. Good luck with your deadline! A friend of mine has been working on publishing a story that she already posted on FictionPress, but it's the smaller version of her completed work, more or less in one-shot form. She kept it there as a "teaser" for her future book. But I understand your caution. I have a story that I intend to publish one day, too. But because I love writing it, I end up creating these little spin-off one-shots. On a completely random note, I love your signature. Hopefully my German isn't as rusty as I fear, but it says: "The sun doesn't rise, but winter doesn't come." right? Although that's me being literal in translating. In any case, I just really love it.
  3. There are plenty of original works that get a lot of attention! Femslash is the less popular section, what with all the slash running around, but I've seen plenty of general and het fics with 10 chapters and already near 500 reviews. But I'd tell you to do what I did: don't expect anything right off the bat. Everything that you may receive will then blow you away. I have to agree with you, too. Compared to some of the things posted here, my erotica can be considered mild at best. It makes me feel more comfortable writing my explicit scenes knowing that there's always someone out there who has written far more shocking and controversial scenes.
  4. Maybe not so much shock value, moreso the intrigue for things that aren't ordinary, no matter how disturbing they may be.
  5. No problem! Glad to help. Hm, well my own likes and dislikes usually don't interfere with my ability to beta fics, so no worries there. I'll send you a PM with my e-mail where you can always reach me and send fics to, and I'm estimating it'd take me about a few hours to get it done depending on how many pages you have, but I'm pretty fast overall if I'm online at that time.
  6. True, but there's also online dictionaries which is really a 2 second job to type in the word and see what it means if you're not sure about it. The problem, however, is that people automatically assume someone's writing must be terrible if English is their second language. I'll admit that my first language made me terrible at English grammar and structure, but that didn't stop me from telling my English friends to slam a ruler on my fingers verbally if I didn't type correctly. If I hadn't done that, I wouldn't be where I am now. I really love writing, so I needed to make sure my first language didn't get in the way of that. In any case, though, there's just the outright bad ones who make us all look bad. But in the end it all comes down to priorities. I've come across plenty of writers who told me to take my advice and shove it where the sun don't shine because they felt they didn't need to improve. Unfortunately for them, that's the whole point. We improve because there's no limit, just like knowledge has no limit.
  7. Hm... I'm sure I can help you with that, actually. I'm good with the Naruto fandom, and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to grammar and structure. I don't have any fanfiction posted here, but if you feel the need to check up on my writing, just give it a glance. Secondly, would you prefer to be added on my Yahoo, or e-mailed? Let me know!
  8. Every writer's worst nightmare! That's terrible D: It happened to me once. I was really down about it until I picked myself up and decided that I could look at this as a clean slate to start anew. I myself have an external hard drive which serves as my back-up in case anything goes wrong on my laptop. But a key drive is just as good, and I'd definitely advise it.
