I’m guilty of this with in Oblivion. TAF scared the hell out of me after he died and he came back. Paralyzed him so he fell to his death wasn’t permanent. At least until I learned how to delete him like a vengeful god.

I only remember Umbridge from the films, so I can’t say what she’s like in the books, but I never really got the impression romance was a thing for her.  Also fairly certain she’s a horrible person but...heh...about that…

If you haven’t seen AgK, then on the left is the hero of the show.  On the right is the villain of the show...who canonically has a massive crush on said hero, and this isn’t one of them harmless, goofy bad guys.
When she was introduced in a city she’d just conquered with corpses impaled on spikes and all, I was “Oh, hell yes, this is going to be such a badass villain!” and I wasn’t wrong.
And then she caught sight of the hero and blushed so hard it was probably visible from space and I was like “Oh, God, this is hilarious,” and her affection and his NOPE continued to be hilarious.
And then eventually I realized “Oh, no...God help me I think I’m into this.”
So, again, with regards to shipping, I know I shouldn’t...but I am.

Checking pairing tags on fanfiction.net and AO3, this one is actually one of the most popular pairings in the Western fandom (no idea how things stand in the Japanese fandom), so at least I’m not alone!

From what I’ve seen, some authors consider “shipping a pairing you know you shouldn’t” to be the dictionary definition of fan fiction, so I wouldn’t worry.

The abridged version is funny.

This is a little different.  It’s not pure crack, as one of the characters really likes the other one, but it’s got...a few problems.
I just watched Akame ga Kill recently, and anyone who’s seen the show knows EXACTLY what pairing I’m talking about.

Oooh, that sounds like something that would be right up my alley.  I agree with the others in that you may just need to give it time.  Also, if you think talking about it might help, I’d always be happy to discuss it either via PM or email.

Sounds like you need to aim to write only the middle of the story if both the start and the end of the story cause problems…

Seriously I think your muse will come back if you give it time. The story idea you describe sounds very promising, but same goes for parts of my backlog too. I have a couple of excellent story ideas that was hit by writers block before I could get a working chapter. When the stars align I am sure they will be done, but I am lot loosing sleep in the meantime about it since I am not paid to write them.
