Oh, Spoils of War by narcolinde-erobey! One of my favorite Legolas/Gimli stories!

Hey Skilla – your best bet would be to post your story to the archive put put the WIP (“Work in Progress”) tag on it, and then share the link with them as want their appetites whetted. One bit of constructive criticism – I’ve never known of a dog in heat being able to talk – Triumph doesn’t count – so the simile doesn’t quite hold up.

Folks, I have to apologise. I saw the thread title on the front of the forum as last updated and didn’t look closely enough at the subforum, or twig on reading previous posts somehow, that this topic was posted in the LOTR slash subforum. My post was therefore unforgivably off topic and so I apologise. I am however laughing at Pippychick’s plot suggestion with a very odd mental image of a confused Shadowfax. Confused horse faces are the best. I don’t know that I’ll ever write much again. Getting back onto topic: For my slash OTP I am pretty traditional with the Legolas/Gimli pairing and all the fine old dwarf tossing activity it undoubtedly entails. A brief search of the archive does show a Shadowfax slash pairing for any interested – The Rider of Rohan – though as I’ve not had chance to read it myself yet I cannot say how good it is.

I’ve known dogs to talk, but in my defence I had tried a tab of something I shouldn’t have done.

Well, I’ve never known dogs to talk full stop, so I suppose it doesn’t hold up regardless.

Seeing that there’s no expiration date for entries: Title: The Last House Tags: NoSex Summary: A brother and sister take the children to one last house before calling it quits for Halloween. Just something that came to me literally on Halloween night and I finally got a chance to write it down and submit.

Not to mention that male dogs, like most males, are pretty much always up for a tumble. It’s the female dogs who go into heat.

Oh, I’ve got “dirty” versions of what I did post over there…. but, those FF.net stories violate AFF TOS, so I can’t bring them over. I could rework the two stories, remove the offending elements, but that’s time that’d take away from my original works here.

I used to be on Fanfiction.net too! But the things I was posting were too dirty and all my pervy friends were getting purged so I came here a good 10 years ago and never really looked back. My profile is still there though! And some of my dirty, old, badly written fan fiction lol. I think under the name “Chlover”? Oh well. I’m on Ao3 too (As CloverReef). I’m glad you joined the party, @SesshomaruFreak ! It warms my lurid little heart to see more active faces on these forums!

Ohh those ‘the rules are for everyone except me’ kinda people. Doing your job awesomely Ahh then perhaps I shall see you out there! I understand being more comfy in one place. While I do love AFF, at the moment I’m a bit more comfortable at another site, but only cause I’m more familiar with it BUT, I am getting more comfortable here each day as I learn about it and meet people and all that jazz lol
