    She is the One

My thoughts on this hole thing is once they've hit puberty (them naturally being ready for sex) and as long as both parties are consenting (hell I'd even go far enough to say they at least use some form of protection) then it shouldn't matter what age they are. We are taught in schools that it is OK to make mistakes as long as we learn from them. Maybe if more 14-17 year olds were pregnant (that came out a bit worse than what I was intending) then maybe they would learn to use protection or wait until they are ready to live with the consequences (children)

    She is the One

I always enjoyed this clipping, apparently no one was freaked out about it in 1924, that these two fine young people decided to marry, even without her parent's permission COUNTY COUPLE IN ELOPEMENT William S******* and Miss Mildred G***** Wed in Cumberland, Md. Two young residents of U******** eloped on Tuesday, March 25th [1924], to Cumberland, Md. The bride was Miss Mildred Lucilla G*****, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G*****. She just celebrated her 14th birthday of February 27th and was a pupil of the 8th grade school at U********. Lucilla was neither tardy of absent from school this term, until her wedding day. She is an attractive and estimable young woman. The bridegroom is Mr. William Blair S******* a former sailor, having served in the U. S. Navy for four years. He is well and favorably known in the community. No one suspected an elopement and it was a surprise to all her friends, even her parents not knowing of it until twelve hours later. She had asked permission to spend the night with a friend but went to Cumberland instead.

Don't judge others, you haven't lived their life. - Bigman I bow to the Master, that is the major theme of the story. Don't judge what you don't understand. And what some see as taboo, others see as normal, just because it isn't for you, don't look down on it. Besides, who has the right to say what is acceptable and what isn't - live and let live I say. Ok, off the soap box Oh, that and I really hate people who hurt children...my pet peeve and I tend to react worse than Max does.

She still bruised up but a day in the pod would be enough to fix welts and any surface cuts. Plus you don't see her scars as bad because the nanites and the pod can reduce those as well. Remember Max thought about removing, or at least reducing, his scars but the girls like them. So as usual he let it be even though he's a little self conscious of them. Also you remember in BITG, Tali had scars on her back and bottom but those are almost gone now. Also remember that Max improved the pods and the nanites, that's how Nadi got preggers, experimental nanites. And Gam is right, I left so many paths to follow in this chapter, mainly because I hadn't decided myself where I wanted to go...still don't know really I'll try to get through this chapter by the weekend...there is a lot to cover. I may actually break it into two chapters. 61 is called A Daughter's Love...think you can guess where most of the chapter will be spent Still haven't thought about Mommy Dearest...is she a victim, a monster, or just broken? Also I want a day in school to dramatize Kara's transformation And there is a scene with Petra, Emma, and Max that has been eating a hole in my brain so much smut, so little time

  8. Okay, I just got done reading the first chapter of a story, it was a m/m slash original. The word count was 1,564 words and the author used the MC's name twice, once in dialog when another character said it. The rest of the chapter he was referred to as the intern (5), the brunette (2), the slim intern (1), the slender intern (1), the slim brunette (2), the young man (2), the brunette intern (3), the young intern (3)(yes I went through and listed all of them) and my absolute least favorite the smaller male (1). I felt bad because I had to quit reading after the first chapter and she'd asked me to review her work. I ended up sending her a pm with my critique because I didn't want my own bias to color other reader's opinion before they read the story. Why can't people use their character's names or just him or he? I can see maybe once to get out one of the character's attributes but come on, it's so annoying. It totally ruins the story for me because I can't get past it. It's gotten to be my biggest pet peeve and I've even begun to notice it happening in published works lately. Why has this become a thing lately and how do we make it stop? Is it just me or does this drive anyone else crazy?
