Totally sellable, comes with a lifetime supply of heating!

Not sure who this mystery writer is, but something tells me they enjoyed getting the chance to write that story. Call it a hunch. 😉
-
And this is why I don’t code, no matter how much AI is trying to convince me that it’s a good idea.

I was having a bit of a discussion recently about feature creep with these things, how you gotta draw a line and say no, not exploring that, it’s already X words let’s just get it finished! You could always save it for a “Domme Maria Side Story” oneshot 😛 There’s something about NYC isn’t there? I went myself, years ago. Looking out from the Empire State Building viewing deck, or out over the water at the statue of liberty, or the Brooklyn Bridge, or Time’s Square, or a guy with his pants around his ankles shooting up in Washington Square Park… it’s all so much like the movies it is unreal. They’re doing a bang up job of preserving it from the pictures I saw! It’s great for a city to have some good public spaces like that. The ghost’s originally from an earlier time, right? Been a while since I read the first parts. Must have been a hell of a nice surprise to find porn didn’t have to be cheap books or woodcuts! Oh, yeah, absolutely! There’s a buncha stuff you can do in stories or even with special effects or whatever in shows that doesn’t fly in real life. Was just a random thought tbh, I probably shouldn’t even have mentioned it. Saving the best for last – a fine tradition! Will get onto the next chapter as soon as I have enough free time.
-
Easy to do, and hopefully was an easy fix! Unlike that time I added an extra space to some code and, long story short, there’s a piece of land nobody can walk on for millions of years until the background radiation drops.

Yay! Trust me, I blew up my login twice in the beta version, but I got there eventually!

NVM I attempted to login again and it finally allowed me!

Have you followed the steps outlined in the most recent news article? You can read it here: https://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/topic/77064-upgrade-complete/ Your old password should still work, and you should be able to log in if you follow the steps outlined. If you normally browse in incognito mode, you will need to turn that off just when logging in for the first time, so you can set the site cookies. After you log in successfully, you can resume browsing incognito with no problems.

thank you but i don’t like the new layout

Similar issue here, my account was recently reactivated but I cannot login, will not take my old password and no password reset link is getting emailed.

Thank you. Considering how much trouble they have gotten into so far because of not communicating, I thought it was important to show they are learning from their previous mistakes. The intention when I wrote it was that bullies always act out when they are in a group and say things they would never dare to say alone with their victim. The idea that some fool might run into trouble by trying to exploit Maria never crossed my mind. Imagine what kind of hurt that person would suffer if Maria had the chance to let some steam out…no I should not listen. If I started going down that path, I would soon have another 10 chapters to write. 🙂 Thank you. As a fellow author, I think you can imagine how many times I revised that section before I was satisfied. Inner thought processes are damn hard to write. *smiles* I recognize the feeling. When I visited New York, it was a marvel at the walking streets I had seen in so many movies. I agree, there is quite a history there. Count Carl Piper began construction in 1695, but he was taken prisoner by the Russians during one of the wars before it was finished. His wife finished the work by recruiting Nicodemus Tessin the Younger, one of the most famous architects in Swedish history, who did much work for the king. The city of Stockholm has been responsible for taking care of the garden since 1945. I think it is safe to assume John has some collections of pictures and clips that gave the ghost so many ideas. As for the punishment, the magic is messing with and making them do stuff no normal person should be doing. Good, we can enjoy it as a story, not as a movie clip of an actress suffering the same. 🙂 Nice if the last scene is the best.

My fault. When creating that menu, I added an extra space. It’s fixed now.
-
Well I’m all for more Buffy related stories here. Eventually I’ll get back to it.
-
Possibly just a firefox issue again, but I was just trying different subdomains from the menu and for some reason the “Marvel Verse” link under “books / comics / manga” doesn’t bring anything up. I noticed hovering over the others has a box at the bottom side of the screen with the domain link, but I don’t see one for marvel. Within my profile when I look at stories I see one story shows under “Xmen” but on the archive menu at the top under comics the menu drop down which doesn’t work for me says “marvel verse” instead. Everything else seems to be working! Figured I’d flag it in case either anyone else had it, or it wasn’t known about.

I am not complaining that it is too much work. My problem was that I, for almost a week, thought there had been a failed update on AFF that had caused a major outage. Three is nothing with the pop-up that suggests incognito mode might be a problem, and there is no information about an explanation on a different page than the one you are accessing. If you add text to the popup that warns the user that if they are having trouble with the popup, they should visit the main site without incognito, people would be able to solve the problem without visiting the forum. Since no activation-email came, I had no way to log in. Thank you very much. I really look forward to test the new UI.

Could use an actual Fight Club quote! “do I give you the ass or the crotch?" heh. Ignore me. Good luck with it though, sounds like there’s potential! I’ve done a rough chapter 4 on mine and into an even rougher chapter 5. These things end up longer than expected sometimes!
-
Depends on the story. My very first two long form fics didn’t have happily ever after, but they were somewhat happy.
-
Well mine is more in a fight club style, as in the episode of Angel where he was captured by people running a fight club… but with a sexual twist to it.
-
The incognito/anonymous thing is a ONE TIME thing to set the new cookie. It’s all right there in the site news. As to an activation email, if that was sent before the upgrade, it is no longer valid. However, I can (and did) activate it for you. So now all you have to do is let the cookie be set. Then you can go back to your anonymous browsing.
-
I am using Firefox and there is no activation email sent as far as I can see. As for the new site. It is extremely hard to know that you cannot surf to the subdomain you want to visit without following instructions that are only visible if you are not using incognito. I suggest you change the popup text to inform visitors what they must do to avoid the problem. Giving a non working popup with no explanations is not reasonable if you want people to find the site. The only reason I understood the site works at all was a message from JayDee that made me realize the site somehow must be working.
-
...eh, haven’t had a whole lot of ‘em. One of mine was so unhappy it inspired another writer to write both a oneshot really exploring the misery and a multiparter to give the plucky heroine a more upbeat fate. How’s about you. Favor the happily ever after?
-
I don’t think I read that one, but a quick google suggests it was a Girls Behind Bars type story? There’s always a lot of room for new stories in that environment. I’d probably mess it up and instead end up with it all far too cheerful and non sexual. The Buffy version of 1970s British Sitcom Porridge. Naffy the Vampire Slayer. I’ll see myself out

I’m glad you were finally able to log in, and thank you!
