    Hi Extreme, I'm doing fine and I hope the same is true for you. No updates because I haven't had any time or energy to write. I'm planning to start again next year, once the kids are in daycare and I get a little free time (and hopefully some uninterrupted sleep).

      I’m not entirely sure how this will all go. I did not care for his mentor, Bill DiBlasio, at all. I thought the man was an overgrown fool who had no clue how to run a city like this. On the other hand, the old guard represented by Andrew Cuomo hasn’t been doing us any favors, either.

      I suspect Zohran Mamdani will find the crucible of NYC to be somewhat tempering, and perhaps he will learn to be rather more pragmatic than idealistic, perhaps in the style of Nancy Pelosi? (And I admire her for knowing that it’s time to pass the baton, after she retires in 2027...)

      I think you may be right about him Bronxie.  He would do well to speak to Jeffries about pragmatism.  After all, Pelosi mentored him to take her place in preparation for her retirement.
