For everyone celebrating today, a very Happy Thanksgiving. 
I am thankful for my family, both real life and my extended online family. I’m thankful for a warm home, and food on the table. I’m thankful for so many things today, and grateful, too.

Grrr…. when the cats decided that I ought to get up early, and I find myself awake, unable to get back to sleep.  Thus, I’m up earlier than a workday … on a holiday!

Hell week is apt. Holiday panic is in full swing with every miser and groupon fanatic trying to get thanksgiving done. Foresight is a thing and being horrible to cashiers will not endear you to them.
 

Watching a terrible fantasy tv show about elves made me want to write an elven epic fantasy as if I can do it better. Sometimes my own ego surprises me.

Reached 30k words last night.Apparantly, I'm celebrating catching up by totally lacking any ambition to write anything at all for NaNo today...

I was looking at your stories written section just now and I saw Claire's Misfortune in Games and thought “Hey, I remember that one, why haven’t I reviewed it?” And I clicked on the reviews and I did review it in 2010, so I remembered the story but not the review and I forgot where I was going with this.

In June 2008 a guy emailed to ask if he could write a sequel to my gorefest Whore of Heaven, and today I got an email with chapter 1 and it’s so, so good. Really good writing. I have my fingers crossed they continue it and share it so y’all can read it too. It’s gonna be about evil getting a sound defeat so it’s already a lot different tone to the original.
