Watching birds eating seeds (Youtube vids for my cat) and listening to nerd rap, looks like a nature show with super gangsta birds singing about zombies and gaming.

Haha. Now any ideas for a book cover where to look? I want something epic for it none of that bland featureless cover nonsense. 

I’ve just finished reading Chapter 4 of the sequel that’s being written to my story Whore of Heaven and I’m blown away by how good it is. It’s coming to AFF when it’s finished and I think anyone who gives it a chance will love it. Plot! Characters! Awesome descriptive passages! Tasteful nudity! Do I actually need to email the tos email to say “Yes, I am happy with this sequel and any quotes/ paraphrasing needed for references to my story” or is gushing on the forum enough?

Yeesh, I got sucked in by a special offer betty crocker sent me… how could that be bad? She’s a wonderful baker!
It was for a free 11oz custom mug from shutterfly. My cost was S&H, which was like 10$. I made the mug with my four favorite book cover images I made.
The shutterfly app said the imaages weren’t detailed enough. but they didn’t tell me the WxH so I could reduce the full image to boost the pixel density but forced clipping. But I still like it: The covers for 3 fanfics and placegolder from an original from an earlier NaNo. As I was finalizing I could rotate and look inside the mug, but the image on the recept was more crude. We’ll have to see how it turned out. If I had more credit, I’d order a few more and send as a ‘so there’ gift.

I was reading the comments on a news article today, and someone mentioned that in Greek mythology, the male gods (chiefly Zeus) often lied for sex with women or raped them outright. Then another poster asked, “What if the version of Greek mythology that was passed down to us was the rule 34 fanfic of its time”?

Somehow.
My story Grand Inquisition went full vampire without me noticing.

Only several K left to reach my nano goal for the month.  Was a bit worried this chapter would come up short, but then I realized I had given the main character a burn ointment (for sunburn) that’s sold as an aphrodisiac in that it makes for super sensitive skin.  Plenty of potential for several K of smut

Finally got more than two words into a christmas story. I’m 1500 deep now, and suddenly all my plans turn to shit because my characters decided to do it their own way. Well if you wanna dictate the direction, you fictional assholes, you could at least write me an outline or something! 

Now if you were a deity vying for control of a world with pantheons(teams/alliances) With the standard alignment axis
and you only got one avatar(lynchpin to said world. Its destroyed you’ve irrevocably lost your bid for said world)
With the alliances having access to far greater resources and power of said world. With heroes, monsters and even demigods duking it out over this vast map. Fog of war at play.
You’re a loner god with no ties to any faction. Where would you decide to place your avatar?

Thanksgiving was good, but it did have its stories. An eager helper rubbed a bunch of pepper in the skin of the bird, for a family who don’t use it. (we keep some for guests). Also my brother said an oops! That all the leftover mashed spuds fell on the floor.
I managed not to cry.
Hope everyone had a less challenging meal...

Happy Thanksgiving America! I hope y’all get to do some family stuff today. Not… not like that. The wholesome version. And if you’re anti-Thanksgiving because it’s problematic for whatever reason, I hope you have an ok day too! (Yeah, it’s about 40 minutes early for California and Pacific Time)

As we traveled to my brother's place this morning for Thanksgiving, my wife said to every shuttle driver and airport worker, "Thank you for working today."
She's awesome.
