We’re having a few hiccups with the fields, it seems, and it doesn’t appear to be possible to delete a story or a chapter, either.
Trust me, I’m aware that there are issues, and I’m not going to be growling at anyone while we’re doing the rollout and reopening. Of course, once we’re back to as normal as we ever get, I’ll be dining on miscreants once more.

IIRC… there are three points you can put the tags.  1) Summary, 2) Top of the story, 3) Top of the relevant chapter(s).

One of the stories I just posted “Morty’s Fun Time” doesn’t have any tags. I didn’t do this intentionally. There was a hiccup posting it when I didn’t put in a chapter tittle it refused to post, I added a chapter title but didn’t realize it had reset the tags I had selected. I tried to add tags and tried to delete it to repost with tags but neither worked. I will add tags as soon as I am able but didn’t want you thinking I purposely violated the TOS.

If you can edit the story itself… put the tags in at the top.  (That’ll warn your readers before you can edit the summary)

“Money attracts lawyers” is a useful adage.  So even if a person finds a magical trick to legally make money out of fanfiction, its unlikely to break even with all the legal fees as they get sued by those corporate lawyers.  And there’s always the risk that court cases might generally outlaw fanfiction too (unless the original author explicitly gives permission).  Because fanfiction is in that gray zone, it’s better for EVERYBODY to charge nothing, and keep it free – don’t be the jerk that ruins it for all.
However, it’s worse with plush books, as it appears they’re STEALING the stories too, simple theft, and rebranding it as their own.  Though I wonder if we should all respond by making sure that every fanfic out there is at least 5 million words...kill ‘em with printing fees.

No, you are constantly posting irrelevant post in a thread that has to do with Tech support for the Archive. So, I am hiding the posts that have NOTHING to do with the thread. For example, the last post I hid from you, you were discussing my gender and pronouns, which are of absolutely NO concern either for you, nor for this thread. 
This is not abuse, this is staff trying to keep control of a thread that has to do with an ongoing issue with our archive. Simple as that. 
We are not bullying you, we are not abusing you, we are simply trying to maintain order. And if you continue to post irrelevant posts on this thread, I will continue to hide them.

That’s an important reason why I wrote this chapter from multiple perspectives instead of just one, like the previous three chapters. Including the male perspective also explains why the story is titled “The Red Day.”
Well, the next chapter is the last, so if you’re going to find out at all, you’ll find out soon.

Pen names restored, took a few hours since there are a ton of members. if they aren’t current feel free to edit them.
The attack didn’t get far, only managing to change pen names, user sensitive data is all encrypted so don’t have to worry about it..

Can confirm that this fix has worked for me as well even after a log out and dumping my browser history.

I took down a bunch of my stories when going through an extensive background check for employment. Am I allowed to repost them as is or do I need to add something extra to them?
