BronxWench reacted to Deadman in Halloween 2025
Sadly, I don’t think in poem style generally. Sounds like it would be fun. I have a couple stories that could theoretically be Halloween themed (dark vampire stuff), but not in poetic form.
Also not original fiction.

I’ll probably do Winter Holiday as Well if nobody else wishes to.

My poem is ready. Can you provide a link to the story in the archive?

BronxWench got a reaction from Wilde_Guess in What are this site's content restrictions?
We permit content with fictional characters who are 15, and as @Desiderius Price notes, the appropriate tag is Minor2 for characters aged 14 to 18, and Minor1 for characters under 14.
The only area where characters under the age of 18 are not permitted is Celebrity Fiction/Real Person fiction. Legally, we can’t allow that sort of story. However, original work with fictional characters under the age of 18 is allowed, as long as the story is properly tagged.

Yeah, I miss forums. (Glad to still have this one.) Much of that stuff has migrated to Discord, where it’s hard to have a discussion about anything unless it’s in real time.

Man, there used to be so many more forums for everything, now I don’t even know where I’d find one in 2025.
Nope, not a clue.
JayDee,

BronxWench got a reaction from Deadman in Little typo and strange alignment
It’s definitely a skin issue with the theme. I get the same issues as you when I run the page in the AFF New 2 (default) theme. AFF IVPB4, AFF New, and Dynamic Theme don’t give me those issues.
In other words, it’s not Firefox… it’s the theme. Try switching to one of the themes that are working for me, and see if that helps.

I thought I should point this out too. This was the case before bringing this up, but since we’re already on the topic.
Maybe this is just me and other people aren’t seeing it. But it’s very odd that I’m seeing it.

I was part of a cooperative writing project there for a bit (I swear, my life is a wild sequence of “this is going to take a while to explain,” events), so I peeked back in from time to time. It’s been a few months, so I don’t remember precisely, but I believe what happened was that the lease on the site/server/what have you ran out, and the person funding it simply decided not to renew it.

I’m flagging @DemonGoddess and @manta2g on this one, since the code side of things is not my wheelhouse.

Just thought I would point out a weird thing I’ve noticed lately. Not an urgent issue necessarily but in case it’s something that should be fixed.
Here are a screenshot of the type and then the alignment thing.
Obviously not a serious issue, but I thought it should be offered.

BronxWench reacted to Deadman in Always fascinated and wrote about wrong pairings. What's your ultimate wrong pairing?
Well that’s the curious point. Would a thruple qualify as a pairing? The same story I have Dawn/Buffy/Faith. A few other types of pairings too but they’re not out yet.
In the Riverdale fandom, I have a pairing coming up involving Cheryl/Betty. Although they aren’t exclusive.

Given my predilection for CRPGs set in the D&D/Forgotten Realms ‘verse, probably my favorite “wrong” pairing was a series of fan fictions with Sand x Torio (Neverwinter Nights 2). That was definitely off the normal radar, but honestly, so well written that it worked.
Then there was a mod written for Baldur’s Gate/Shadows of Amn, where the PC gets to romance their nemesis from the original game, their half-brother Sarevok, who spent the entire original game trying to kill the PC so he could absorb the power of their father, the dead god of murder, Bhaal. It was a major enemies to lovers twist, but again, well written enough to work.
I’m not sure I’ve ever managed to write anything so spectacularly wrong and yet as perfect as those two… *sighs*

Oh, my. Can you still call it a pairing when there are 4+ people involved? Because if you can, than my Star Vs. the Forces of Evil pairing is Marco/Star/Jackie/Janna/Princess Arms/Kelly/Hekapoo/Brittney/Higgs/Starfan13.
No, seriously, I wrote that one.

Category name: Zootopia
Section category to be in: Cartoons > +S through Z
Do you have any stories for it?: Yep.
It feels weird and wrong that this very popular movie came out 9 years ago and yet no one has requested a category for it until now.

I don’t know that historically I’ve done much in the wrong pairing. However, I have a couple stories, one of which is posted here.
My “wrong pairing” has been in the Buffy fandom I wrote a story that includes Dawn/Buffy/Faith/Joyce.
Not necessarily a pairing but I have done gangbang stories obviously which could theoretically be a “wrong pairing”.
There are a couple stories in which things got seriously dark but they aren’t really anywhere for people to read at the moment.

BronxWench reacted to Itwasmerlin in Always fascinated and wrote about wrong pairings. What's your ultimate wrong pairing?
Hi guys Merlin here .
I've always liked and wrote about wrong pairings. Most non con and blackmail . Hypnosis
Older-younger
Looser/hottie etc
Not always wrong in real life but in tv shows etc when you know the characters you'd know it's not normal. Especially with tone and other love interests.
Not sure if this is the right part to post about this. But in TV, movies, games etc what is your favourite wrong couples you'd love to see adult fics written about. For example I've done
Hitchcock/Rosa b99
Astrid Hofferson/Mildew how to train your dragon
Sarah Walker/Morgan grimes in chuck
And more.
So what's your ideal, wrong pairing ? And why?

BronxWench reacted to Wilde_Guess in Always fascinated and wrote about wrong pairings. What's your ultimate wrong pairing?
Hi, all.
For truly “wrong” romantic/erotic parings, I tend to go towards dark humor. So, Dipper/Mabel isn’t quite a “wrong” pairing, though it raises the question that if they married in Kentucky and divorced in Arkansas, would they still be fraternal twins. I’m thinking more along the lines of Mr. Ed/receptive Wilbur, Granny/Mr. Drysdale, Uncle Joe/every female over the age of consent, etc.
Cheers!

BronxWench reacted to GeorgeGlass in Always fascinated and wrote about wrong pairings. What's your ultimate wrong pairing?
Jeez, where do I even start?
As wrong pairings go, I loves me some incest. I’ve written stories about Hiro and his Aunt Cass from Big Hero 6, Dipper and Mabel from Gravity Falls, and Lincoln Loud and virtually all of his sisters from The Loud House.

And they’re rude enough to only get it on when you’re in the bed right above them. *shakes head* No class at all…
As for me, depending on what you consider “wrong,” I may have never written a right pairing. 😅 My established pairings have an extreme age difference, to put it mildly (18-20 year old man and immortal women centuries to eons old), and I’m working on a brother/sister incest pairing.
As for why, it’s a bit difficult to explain. When it comes to the extreme age differences between human/nonhuman characters, there are published authors who write stuff like that (see the popular A Court of Thorns and Roses series), but to get down to why it appeals to me, I think it’s a fantasy I have as a man who’s always been unsure of himself, especially with women, and there is a fantasy of a shy, nervous young man being introduced to sex by a knowledgeable older woman. Kevin/Luzurial doesn’t exactly fit that mold since they’re both inexperienced regardless of age, but the other examples do, including the incest story (older sister/younger brother). The “why” on the incest pairings is somewhat more complex; I’ll return to that when I have time.

Fucked if I know tbh! I suspect the old owner just moved on. Decade+ is a decent time to run a forum. As for the writers I recently heard Deathstalker was now on A03 (under DeathstalkerLives), dunno where others went. I suspect any still active moved to other sites as DS did, so will likely show up from username searches/story titles or similar.
I hadn’t been active there for a long time, I’m afraid, so don’t know any ins or outs, but I’ll edit the link out above now it’s gone.
